Design and Implementation of Mobile Learning with RASE Framework: Applying to The Balance of Rigid Bodies

This study aims to produce mobile learning applications with RASE framework on android platform that can be used as a tool of learning physics class XI on the subject of balance of rigid body. In addition to know the perception of learners to the media developed in terms of compliance with usability standards and mobile quality. This research is a research R & D with design include: requirement analysis, product planning and development, product development, product evaluation, final product, dissemination and presentation. The developed application named amolef has been implemented in 93 students of class XI Senior High School 3 Purworejo. Data collection is done by giving validation sheet to expert lecturer. Questionnaire response of learners has also been given to give input to the developed product. The results showed that the product of development result was declared viable based on expert assessment and response of the students with very good category. Through one sample t-test the characteristics of media meet usability and mobile quality standards. Implementation in the study of physics on the subject of balance of rigid body able to improve student performance.

Subduction Zone Characterization of the Northern Papua through the Study of Earthquake History

Papua is one of part in Indonesia which is the geology research of that place isn’t developed and limited. It causes the seismotectonic of Papua hasn’t been known. WinITDB was used to determine the dip angle plate which was on the north part of Papua. The determination of angle was done through seismicity’s cross section analysis in the area. To show that seismicity, earthquake history data that ever occurred in the area is needed. The result on the seismicity’s cross section of plane A–A’, was confluence by two plates with angle 150° against horizontal on the depth up to ±68 km. On the seismicity’s cross section of plane B–B’ had angle 135° against horizontal on the ±82 km depth. On the plane C–C’ seismicity’s cross section, was confluence of two plate which located between -1,77°S until -4,97°S subducted until 171 km depth on 1,38°N 4,97°S. It proved that subduction characteristic in the northern Papua which was Australia continent plate subducted to north, followed by collision and the Pacific plate subduction on New Guinea. It is also confirmed by focus mechanism analysis which showed the earthquake activities are controlled by the not really deep active fault.

ANALISIS PENURUNAN MUKA AIR TANAH DI SEKARAN DAN SEKITARNYA BERDASARKAN DATA ANOMALI GAYA BERAT MIKRO ANTAR WAKTU PERIODE 2013

Telah dilakukan penelitian gaya berat di Sekaran dan sekitarmya dengan menerapkan metode gaya berat mikro antar waktu. Alat utama yang digunakan adalah gravimeter tipe Sintrex Autograv CG-5. Pengukuran dilakukan pada bulan Mei dan Oktober 2013. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perubahan kedalaman muka air tanah yang diidentifikasi berdasarkan nilai gaya berat mikro antar waktu yang merupakan selisih antara gaya berat periode Oktober dengan Mei. Hasil penelitian secara umum menujukkan bahwa nilai anomali gaya berat mikro antar waktu terdapat tiga kemungkinan, yaitu (+) berhubungan dengan amblesan atau kenaikan muka air tanah, (-) berhubungan dengan penurunan muka air tanah, dan nol (0) tidak terjadi perubahan. Nilai (-) yang terjadi di beberapa tempat disebabkan oleh pengambilan air yang berlebihan untuk berbagai keperluan sehari-hari. Kondisi ini akan mengakibatkan penurunan muka air tanah. Curah hujan yang terjadi selama rentang waktu pengukuran gaya berat tidak menyebabkan kenaikan muka air tanah karena pengambilan air yang lebih besar.
