Medico Legal Aspects in the Cases of Flame Burn Deaths

Injuries due to burns are known to have a very high mortality. Burn injuries occur due to a variety of thermal, electrical, mechanical products and can be accidental, suicidal or even homicidal in nature. In this study flame burn injuries are taken. According to this study in flame burn victim most of the cases was of suicide those were followed by accidental and homicidal those were found. The absence of soot in the respiratory tract does not allow in drawing the conclusion that exposure to the fire occurred after death. Apart from the soot inhalation as a vitality parameter, there are other vital signs that include, line of redness, vesicles can be seen.

Estimation of Drug Containing Tranquilizers by Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC)

Considering the high consumption of benzodiazepines worldwide, there is increased potential for addiction and abuse in cases of crime, driving under the influence of drugs, suicide and drug-facilitated sexual assault (DFSA). For these reasons, this class of drugs and their metabolites are frequently present in both clinical and forensic cases. Therefore, it is important to develop an efficient sample preparation procedure as well as method able to determine benzodiazepines in different matrices. In this article the information concerning the current available analytical methods for the determination of tranquilizers in biological materials and pharmaceutical formulations are reviewed. Developed methods are classified as chromatography (TLC). The present work is mainly based on drug screening through TLC. In this study the comparison was made between Rf-value and standard Rf-value to establish the identity.

Simple Techniques to Reveal Invisible Ink in Forensic Science

Secret writing is a hidden writing which is used to convey a message as a means of communication. Invisible inks are used to write secret messages such as fruit juice, vegetable juice and by some chemicals also. This paper is about secret writing which can reveal from heating and how it is important in forensic science. The current research paper comprises of some samples which will help to specify and identify the secret writing and then they visualised by physical method and chemical method.

Forensic Applications and Important Legislations Associated to Wild Life Crime

Wildlife and forest crime is the 3rd biggest crime in the world. Such crimes are our shared responsibility and mainly refers to all flora and Animal including birds and fish, as well as timber and non-timber forest products, taking, trading (supplying, selling or trafficking), importing, exporting, processing, possessing, obtaining and consumption of wild fauna and flora, as well as timber and other forest products, in contravention of national or international law. In that such type other words we can say that it is the crime of illegal exploitation of the worlds wild flora and fauna. It is juvenile grassland which uses traditional and next generation techniques to help the investigation of such crime and mainly causes biodiversity and endangered species, the livelihood of people, and severely impacts national security, social and economic development. To manage illegal wildlife-product trade and protect endangered species several national and international agencies like CITES, WWF, WCCB, UNODC, IUCN, etc. are contributing in the wildlife crime prevention and monitoring. In this article the author has tried to focuses about the variety of wildlife products smuggled and trafficked by criminals and other aspects of protective this biggest crime in our planet as well as various types of legislations associated with it.
