Four elements array of lungs shape patch antenna for nanosatellite telemetry

The paper discusses some technical issues on the construction of antenna system incorporated with a designed nano satellite. The preliminary LEO satellite model has been developed for the environmental telemetry application. The designed four elements lungs patch structure was initially installed outside the prism body of nano satellite. The lungs antenna array was constructed in such away for electronic rotateable along 90° rotation, vertical or horizontal orientation. Both the numerical and experimental evaluations of 2.4 GHz lungs array confirmed a sufficient operation bandwidth suitable for long distance telemetry application, abruptly, 50 MHz could be achieved. The elliptical polarization property was verified via the numerical computation where the axial ratio was slightly greater than 5 dB.

LEO antenna ground station analysis using fast fourier transform

One of the quality requirements of a satellite low Earth orbit receiver antenna that maintain is pointing accuracy. The research is trying to using FFT to analyze the quality of the LEO satellite receiver antenna. Currently, the antenna tracking error analysis using graphs fault elevation and azimuth error compare to the time. This study is conducted find the effectiveness of the frequency and amplitude of the tracking error using (FFT). FFT is able to count the amplitude and frequency error. Calculation and plotting error by FFT in this study shows amplitude and frequency error. The goal system malfunction at data reception, recording satellite reception can be detected earlier. Solution and problem solving more efficient, availability of systems also data continuity can be maintained and protected.

Low-cost switched array-wide band antenna for Search and Rescue disaster management

The activity of SAR (Search and Rescue) is an activity that requires speed in finding the location point. Successfully search for victims can save many lives. Direction finder is proposing to accelerating search survivors. Direction finder can detect the direction and track the radio transmitter using Doppler function. The design, measuring, testing and integrating wideband switched parasitic antenna for direction finder application are conducted in the research. In this paper direction finder antenna made with simple devices and the materials can be found in Indonesia. The proposed architecture has advantages for cost-effective, easy to design and to integrate. The antenna design successfully reaches maximum gain by simulation and field test. The antenna success passes S11 measurement, in accord with international standards of antenna manufacturing. The antenna successfully tracks the transmitter using zero cross detector software.

Syaritar intelligent system for the detection of illegal logging in the river basin Jeneberang

The purpose of this study is to classify the use of intelligent Syaritar system, methods for the detection of illegal logging and changes in forest area in the water sed. The research of intelligent hybrid system methods simulate Syaritar to know and analyze the logging on a sample image of the area of protected forest in the Jeneberang basin river by using sample image pair years 2007 to 2009. On the methods off intelligent system is an digital image, then cropped and will be classified in order to obtain a picture of the two parts of the forest area and the area is not a forest. Futher input parameter in the form of finding the average value of R (Red), G (Green), and B (Blue) for each sample pair the image of the beginning and end. This parameter will be the input for a method of intelligent system.
