We have performed the dHvA measurements on CexLa1-xB6CexLa1-xB6 and PrxLa1-xB6PrxLa1-xB6 compounds to study spin splitting of the Fermi surfaces. In PrB66 we have found new frequency branches to confirm that the Fermi surface splits into up and down spin Fermi surfaces, whereas no spin splitting has been found for x=0.25,0.5,0.75x=0.25,0.5,0.75. We have also found several new frequency branches in CeB6CeB6. The new frequency branches imply that the Fermi surfaces of up and down spin conduction electrons are significantly different in CeB6CeB6 as well as in PrB6PrB6.

We report the first observation of the de Haas-van Alphen (dHvA) oscillations in U-based alloys U1-xThxPd3 up to x = 0.5. In U0.5Th0.5Pd3, the dHvA oscillations ?2 can be observed in the (1100) plane and the frequencies of the oscillations as well as their angular dependences are found to be nearly the same as those in UPd3. On the other hand, the effective mass of the ?2 oscillation is found to decrease with x from 1.78m0 of UPd3 to 1.32m0 of U0.5Th0.5Pd3. From these observations we argue that the f electrons in UPd3 are nearly localized and the interactions between the f electrons and the conduction electrons are weak.
