Early clearance vs persistence of de novo donor-specific antibodies following lung transplantation

The natural history of de novo donor‐specific antibodies (dnDSA) after lung transplantation is not well‐described. We sought to determine the incidence and risk factors associated with dnDSA and compare outcomes between recipients with transient (or isolated) vs persistent dnDSA after transplantation.

Association of methacholine challenge test with diagnosis of chronic lung allograft dysfunction in lung transplant patients

Broad‐spectrum antimicrobials are given prophylactically post‐transplant, although these agents are a risk factor for multidrug‐resistant (MDR) infections and Clostridium difficile infection (CDI). This study aimed to determine whether an association exists between the duration of antimicrobials given early post‐transplant and the development of MDR infections or CDI.
