The measurements of hourly, daily, monthly and annual PV final yield are performed during a period of two years. A comparison between the results obtained by the two different PV technologies production is conducted. These results are established by an experimental study on photovoltaic fPV) production measurement using two different solar platforms located in the South West of Tunisia and designed according to different PV technologies. The first solar installation is with polycrystalline technology of 1.47 kWp of power. The second one is with amorphous technology of 1.24 kWp of power. A comparison between obtained results and the simulation results using different data bases like Meteonorm and CM-SAFis conducted. The relative difference between monthly and annual final yield of actual study and the simulation results are about 15 % for Meteonorm databases and 3.5 % for CM-SAF one.

A thermodynamic analysis of two combined cycle is performed. The difference between the cycles is the heat source used to produce steam injected into the combustion chamber. The gas turbine cycles are with two way of steam injection production. The first cycle is equipped with a system of heat exchanger installed before the combustion chamber, an air cooling steam generator system in which water is transferred to steam and injected to the combustion chamber. The second cycle is with a stream of water passes to the Heat Recovery Steam Generator to produce steam for injection. For the steam turbine cycle, two steam extractions are considered, at high and medium pressure, and two feed water heaters are used. Numerous studies are conducted for operating parameter ranges related to winter and summer working conditions. In this study the effects of two principle operating parameters on the cycle are analyzed, the ambient temperature and the steam injection ratio. Obtained results show that a difference of 4% of overall efficiency is obtained between the cycles. Furthermore the influences of studied parameters on the cycles are not similar for each technology. The overall efficiency for the installation equipped with a system of air cooling steam generator can be more than 58% for the year except in the summer season.
