BLOCK STRUCTURED IN-VEHICLE INFORMATION NETWORK SYSTEM

Takahiro Oikawa; Kunimitsu Aoki

The authors present a block structured in-vehicle information network system which is equipped with an intelligent network manager. It features: 1) increased freedom for device selection; 2) easy attachment and detachment of new devices; 3) standardization beyond the car line and grade variations; 4) high performance human interface devices; and, 5) high speed data transmission. The paper describes the block struck network system in terms of its outline, system noise flexibility, grade variation, and human interface.
