93 1.はじめに 東京都立産業技術高等専門学校(以下「本校」)では 平成21年度に,成績が不振な低学年の学生に対し,高 学年の学生が補習を行う学習支援システム「校内塾」 を構築した.平成22年度からは他教育研究機関で行わ れている取り組みを参考にして改良を行い,年度 を重ね現在まで運営を行っている. 本論文ではまず,平成22年度に確立した本校荒川キ ャンパスにおける校内塾に係る組織体系と,実施方法 および内容を解説する.次に,平成22年度末に実施し た受講学生とSA学生対象のアンケート調査の結果を 紹介し,確立した学習支援システムの妥当性を考察す る.最後に,平成25年度までの4年間の受講学生とSA 学生の人数の推移,および平成22年度と平成25年度に おける受講学生の校内塾への出席率の変化を示す.そ の数値から,年代に依存しない恒常的な学習支援シス テムとなり得るかを考察する. ここで,受講学生とは校内塾に参加した低学年の学 生,具体的には第1,2学年の学生を指す.また,SA とはいわゆる“Student Assistant”である.SA学生は 校内塾運営ワーキンググループ(Working Group,以 下「WG」)が課外での補習実施のために募集した高学 年の学生を指す.SA学生の構成は主に第4学年であ り,第5学年,専攻科は少数である.なお,平成21年 度はSA学生とは呼ばずTA(Teaching Assistant)学 生と呼んでいた.大学の場合,学部生をSA,大学院生 をTAとする場合が多い.しかし,仕事内容や報酬額 により分ける大学や高専もあり,厳密には区分されて いない.
