Depression Fracture of the Femoral Condyle in the Adolescent : Report of Three Cases

We report three cases of depression fracture of th femoral condyle in the adolescent.The etiological mechanism was assumed to be abduction (Valgus) stress or a combined compression force in the knee as occurs with fractures of the tibial plateau.All cases achieved satisfactory results, with no problems. Treatment of the fracture should be selected according to the degree of the depression, and associated meniscal lesion or soft tissue and ligament injury.
