IEC is International Electrotechnical Commission, it covers the category of Electrotechnical industries. TC (Technical Committee) in IEC concerning SICE is TC65, it covers Industrial-process measurement, control and automation. TC65s original technologies/standards are based on “analogue”, but todays TC65 technologies go ahead with “smartnize”. In such transition of the technologies, TC65 is generating/preparing new/suitable standards for Smart Device contributing to realizing Smart Society in advance. This paper supports your understanding by showing the Organization of IEC/TC65 and the International Standards concerning Smart Device.
