In this paper, the circuit of high frequency power supply for the electrodeless discharge lamp is proposed. In order to obtain the high power, the circuit is made by combining outputs of parallel four 125 W power conversion circuits. This method is effective in order to make the high power circuit with the low cost in small space. The design of 500 W-class high frequency power supply for electrodeless discharge lamp with 2.6 MHz is reported. The electric power transmission from the power supply to the load carried out using coaxial cable. The control circuit for operating the lighting equipment in the high reliability is also reported.

Recently, the ultraviolet disinfection is spreading in place of the chlorine sterilization that affects the ecosystem of the downstream in the river. In this paper, the new lighting system of electrodeless discharge lamp for ultraviolet disinfection is proposed, which realized high safety and long life. By developing the method for stably supplying the necessary electric power to the lamp in the case of the low coil voltage, it became possible to extend the life of the discharge lamp, and to improve reliability of the equipment. By experiments, the practicability of the proposed system could be confirmed.

図1装 置全体構成 3.検 討 ランプ軸方向単位長当た りに加わる電界が大きいと、ランプ の同電界作用箇所付近に部分的黒化が生じることは、経験的に 把握 していた。よって、より低いコイル電圧でランプに一定電 力を投入する方法を検討 した。 4.方 法 同一仕様コイルで点灯周波数を低下し、より低いコイル電圧 でランプに一定電力を供給できるようにした。また、ランプか らの紫外線出力の遮光率を一定化するように、巻線ピッチを略 一定化し、コイルの仕様(tum× 並列数)を変化 して、コイル電 圧を低下した。 5.確 認 ランプ軸方向単位長当た りに加わる電界が小さくなるような コイルを用いると、ランプの早期黒化が抑制できること、を比 較実験で確認した。 6.ま とめ 点灯周波数とコイル仕様の検討により、一定電力をランプに 投入しつつ、コイル電圧を低下できた。これにより、ランプの 早期黒化を防止でき、長寿命な装置を実用化できた。 Improvement of UV Intensity Maintenance of Electrodeless UV Lamp by Reducing Coil Voltage.
