Fungi are organisms present in daily life and, therefore, it is necessary that this issue be addressed more effectively during elementary school. In this work, a sequence of activities about fungi is shown to be developed in basic education. First, a discussion of the importance of the practical activities in science teaching, are then exposed five activities in fungi, developed by students of the seventh grade in a public school in Palmeira das Missoes, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The activities have different approaches that emphasize teamwork and playfulness with the goal of providing a better development of the theme. The activities have been proposed by undergraduates of Biological Sciences, the Programa Institucional de Bolsa de Iniciacao a Docencia (PIBID)-UFSM. At the end of the workshop, it became clear that each subject has different ways of learning, so it is essential that educators use in their teaching practices, different methodologies in order to contemplate the v ast numbers of learners.

The present work describes perception of students Program Institutional Scholarship Initiation to Teaching about the contribution of the project in initial academic degree in Biological Sciences. For this training perspective to materialize students of PIBID performed in the course of two years various activities of an experimental who ran the school based on the reproduction of concepts and seek with it, constitute a new profile educator. It is the consolidation of this new teaching profile that students of PIBID demonstrated their opinions in an opening question of the impact of the activities of PIBID in your training. The conceptions of academic evidence that the project enables its students to reflect that teaching needs innovative ways to bridge the knowledge and it is this articulation that the PIBID operates, redirecting the teacher looking for new perspectives and encouraging a formation more solid and investigative and these future teachers of biology.

This paper presents considerations about practical activity realized in a Science Fair organized by participants of the Programa Institucional de Bolsa de Iniciacao a Docencia PIBID/CAPES, in the subproject of Biological Science of the Universidade Federal de Santa Maria-Palmeira das Missoes. The approach was to experimentally demonstrate an disease of contagious for 6th grade students [7th grade] of the a school from primary school in Palmeira das Missoes-RS. The presentation of the results of the experiment at the Fair was held by the students where the involvement and integration of the students in the activity was crucial to the successful outcome of the work. The differentiated approach to teaching given disease of contagious served to combine theory with practice and reframe conceptions of environments that non-formal education such as the shows also provide a space for socializing and meaningful dissemination of topics related to the field of Sciences.

This work presents considerations of teachers supervising of Scholars Program Institutional Initiation Scholarship to teaching / PIBID forward to the contributions of the project in the exercise professional of graduation. For these views, two teachers answered some questions based in the advantages of being inserted in the program and the importance it for their continuing formation. The responses of the questions of the survey brought to light various perceptions of educators regarding the contribution of the program in its formation showing that PIBID collaborated to redirect the teacher look to new perspectives the which will provide a fundamental basis for the consolidation of a new profile educator.
