Triafulvene als komplexliganden. Reaktion von 1,2-dimethyl-4,4-dicyan-triafulven mit dodecacarbonyltrieisen; strukturaufklärung von tricarbonyl-2,6—8-η4-[1-tricarbonylferra-3-oxa-4-amino-5-cyan-7,8-dimethyl-bicyclo[3.3.02,6]octa-2,4,7-trien] eisen(FeFe)

Abstract 1,2-Dimethyl-4,4-dicyanotriafulvene reacts with Fe 3 (CO) 12 in toluene to give the title compound, which is formed by insertion of a Fe(CO) 4 group into the three-membered ring system. Simultaneously one cyano group is converted to an amino group. An additional Fe(CO) 3 group is coordinated to the ferracyclopentadiene moiety. The complex crystallized from acetonitrile contains one mole of the solvent. Its crystal structure (space group P1 1 ) has been determined by X-ray diffraction ( R = 0.036).

Triafulvene als komplexliganden. Reaktion von 1,2-diphenyl-4,4-diacetyl-triafulven mit Fe(CO)5; strukturaufklärung von 1-(tricarbonylferra)-2-oxa-3-methyl-4-acetyl-6,7-diphenyl-bicyclo[3.3.01,5] octatrien-2,4,6-on-8, eines neuartigen eisenhaltigen bicyclus

Gerd Dettlaf; Ulrich Behrens; Theophil Eicher; Erwin Weiss

The title compound is synthesized by reaction of 1,2-diphenyl-4,4-diacetyl-triafulvene with Fe(CO)5 under UV irradiation. It is formed by insertion of a photochemically generated Fe(CO)4 group into the three-membered ring system. Simultaneously an OFe donor bond involving one acetyl group is formed. The complex crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pna21 with lattice constants a 1299.2(7), b 1574.9(9), c 1034.7(5) pm; Z = 4.
