Classes of convex functions

Thomas Rosy; B. Adolf Stephen; K. G. Subramanian; Herb Silverman

We investigate a family that connects various subclasses of functions convex in the unit disk. We also look at generalized sequences for this family.

Certain sufficient conditions for a subclass of analytic functions involving Hohlov operator

S. Sivasubramanian; Thomas Rosy; K. Muthunagai

Making use of the Hohlov operator, the authors obtain inclusion relations between the classes of certain normalized analytic functions. Relevant connections of our work with the earlier works are pointed out.

On a Subclass of Meromorphic Functions Defined by Hilbert Space Operator

Thomas Rosy; S. Sunil Varma

In this paper, we define a new operator on the class of meromorphic functions and define a subclass using Hilbert space operator. Coefficient estimate, distortion bounds, extreme points, radii of starlikeness, and convexity are obtained.

On Certain Sufficient Condition Involving Gaussian Hypergeometric Functions

Herb Silverman; Thomas Rosy; Seetharaman Kavitha

The authors define a new subclass of 𝒜 of functions involving complex order in the open unit disk 𝕌. For this new class, we obtain certain inclusion properties involving the Gaussian hypergeometric functions.

A unified class of analytic functions with negative coefficients

G. Murugusundaramoorthy; Thomas Rosy; K. Muthunagai

Making use of the convolution product, we introduce a unified class of analytic functions with negative coefficients. Also, we obtain the coefficient bounds, extreme points, and radius of starlikeness for functions belonging to the generalized class PgT (λ, α, β). Furthermore, partial sums fk(z) of functions f(z) in the class Pg(λ, α, β) are considered and sharp lower bounds for the ratios of the real parts of f(z) to fk(z) and f′(z) to f′k(z) are determined. Relevant connections of the results with various known results are also considered.
