A video signal processing system for video disk players developed on the basis of a new feedforward technique is described. The system is composed of two LSI units: a signal processor for the TBC (time base corrector), which constitutes the basic block, incorporating analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters; and an LSI that includes the FNR (field noise reducer), for additional functions using a field memory. >
