Knowledge, being an intangible resource of the enterprise, plays a very important role in the competitive fight on the dynamically changing market. It is the basic element of decisions taken at every level of management. It simultaneously affects their effectiveness. Possibly full and appropriately applied knowledge increases the probability of achieving the intended effects. Simultaneously, it reduces the risk of failure of the activities taken on their basis. Decisions, referring to poorly predictable future, have direct impact on the position of the enterprise. Therefore, it is necessary to identify the desirable characteristics of knowledge and the conditions of its practical use, which are of the key importance in the context of optimization of effectiveness of decisions in the strategic aspect.

In the current reality and the conditions under which companies conduct its activity, the role of information/knowledge is gaining in importance. The Internet?s popularization had a big influence on this increasing, as Internet allows not only for information providing but also its generation. Looking further, it has also contributed to the increasing meaning of knowledge, based on a large amount of information perceived by the receivers. In the case of information that was already presented in the traditional supply chain, as one of the subjects of flows - next to products and financial resources, but its role was confined mainly to the improvement of the entire supply chain. Now, information flows that takes place between the company and its client are very important, these flows play a large role in making purchase decisions taken by clients. Because of this decision, whether to buy the product or not, the further development of the company may depend on. Therefore, the main purpose of this article was to verify whether for the clients, information about the products are important and if they play an important role in making purchase decisions. The authors focused on how clients obtain and share information/knowledge about the products offered by the company, and also examined whether for the client the efficient flow of information is important, and whether in their opinion, the company try to improve their information flows directed to its clients.

According to statistics, in recent years gamification has been listed as one of the most important trends. Among the gamification applications one should mention marketing, sales, recruiting, motivating, training and development of employees, health, personal development, education etc. The use of gamification in education brings with it enormous potential, increasingly often one talks today about it in the context of teaching at schools of higher education. This new approach to academic courses designing is used at Polish schools of higher education since 2012. The aim of the article is to introduce initiatives of gamification implementation in higher education in Poland and to examine whether the introduction of elements of games to courses of higher education may be attractive to students. The article presents the main assumptions of gamification and its most commonly used mechanisms. The authors present implemented gamification solutions, as well as the prospects of gamification in polish schools of higher education. The article is enriched with the results of research conducted among the students of Czestochowa University of Technology on the state of their knowledge about gamification, the scale of interest in gamification mechanisms and finally their wish to take part in the gamified e-learning course.

Modern companies operate in conditions of high competition and rapidly changing customer needs and expectations. In such a reality, one of the solutions to achieve success, is to establish cooperation with selected market participants. The partners’ choice determine the needs of the company and market’s expectations. The cooperation focuses on the optimal use of available resources and creating relational resource, takes place in virtual space. Access to this space and effective in its functioning, are associated with the use of information and communication. Thanks to ICT, companies can be found, as well as establish and maintain a collaboration between them.
