Mechanism of Nanostructure Carrier on Improvement of Catalytic Sensor's Sensitivity

Tong Minming; Chuang Zhang; Dai Xinlian; Cai Li

The stability of sensitivity of catalytic sensor was greatly improved by method of carbothermic. The sensor had nanobelts structure, moderate aperture and appropriate distributing of granularity after the process of carbothermic technique. The nanobelts structure of the sensor had even and stable distributing of catalyst on carrier, and the density and intensity of the carrier were higher and the ability of anti-sintering was greater than common sensor, so it would effectively prevent the attenuation of sensitivity of catalytic sensor in long-term working. The result of experiment showed that the sensitivity of catalytic sensor prepared by nanobelts attenuated only 7% in 30-day which was much better than 11% of common sensor.

Underground wireless attendance realized by wireless sensor network and radio frequency identification

Zhou Lingling; Liang Liang; Li Meng; Du Yuxin; Tong Minming

An underground wireless attendance system is designed based on radio frequency identification and wireless sensor network technology. The advantages of wireless sensor network have been applied in the attendance system, mainly solving the problems of wiring complexity and error-prone information collection, among other issues in the current attendance system. This system consists of radio frequency information acquisition module, wireless transmitting and receiving modules, and an attendance information processing system. After a long-term practice test, this system demonstrates stable performance and achieves the performance and functional requirements proposed in the design stage. The wireless attendance system has broad application prospects.

Wavelet Basis Function of the Microseismic Signal Analysis

Tang Shoufeng; Tong Minming; Pan Yu-xiang

Wavelet transform is an important method in signal processing for microseismic signals, and the wavelet basis function is the key factor that must be considered in the wavelet signal processing. In this chapter, through the analysis of the commonly used wavelet basis function’s properties, spectrogram, and power spectrum diagram, combined with the characteristics of the microseismic signals and wavelet energy spectrum coefficient, we obtained the following wavelet basis functions suitable for microseismic signal analysis: Daubechies, Symlets, and Coiflets wavelet. The wavelet analysis is used according to the above wavelet basis function with a good time-frequency and local analysis ability to lay a good foundation for the microseismic signal’s processing, resulting in the signal’s noise reduction and the feature extraction.

Shape Fitting Remediation of Amplitude Saturation Microseismic Signals

Tang Shoufeng; Tong Minming; Pan Yu-xiang

The microseismic signal was the main evaluation basis for the monitored objects. In this chapter, we review a variety of analyses and processing methods for microseismic signals, put forward an effective shape fitting remediation method for the amplitude saturation problem in waveform analysis, and analyze the repairing effect by the spectrum, the intensity map, and the wavelet energy spectrum coefficient. From the above analysis we can conclude that the shape fitting remediation can better repair the amplitude saturation signal. The shape fitting remediation has an important value for obtaining the complete and accurate microseismic waveform characteristics and source information in processing the microseismic signals.

Research of Anti-H2S Poisoning Catalytic Sensor

Tong Minming; Feng Yingbo; Zhang Chuang

When the heat catalytic methane sensors work in the circumstance with H2S, they will be poisoned and lose their activity and can not work well. The paper analyzed the hypostasis of the poisoning of the sensors. And the general methods of anti-H2S poisoning were discussed. The methods of anti-H2S poisoning were worked out by realistic experiments. That is, use pre-poisoning and aging to advance the anti-H2S poisoning ability of the sensor. And the electric field can make the result better.
