One-bit A/D D/A converters IC for audio delay

Tsutomu Ishikawa; Masaya Tanno; Masato Onaya; Yoshinobu Nomura; Toshiyuki Ohkoda

A single-chip IC that provides all the functions for surround decoding of movies by using a novel digital delay system with excellent performance is described. A BiCMOS process with excellent linear characteristics was developed and applied to the new IC. It is noted that the development of this IC can help reduce the size of surround systems, while improving system performance. >
