Abstract 1. 1. The technique and results of EEG activation by means of combined megimide and metrazol solutions and photic stimulation are described. 2. 2. MM-activation produced positive results in a large percentage of epileptics. These positive findings were significantly higher than those obtained in two control groups of neurotics and schizophremics.

Ninety‐eight subjects in one family, in which 2 sibling cases of typical myoclonus epilepsy were found as the originator, were clinically surveyed, and 24 cases among them were electroencephalographically investigated.

In 108 epileptic patients with 133 seizures in the total number, almost all being refractory, Chloroquine diphosphate andjor Chloroquine diortate was administered in addition to the routine anti‐epileptic drugs available at the present time and the following results were obtained:

The authors studied the effect of GABOB on 150 epileptics with various types of seizures. The study was carried out in 2 groups, the old cases and the new ones. The former were made up of patients who had been given an ordinary antiepileptic medication for periods of time, and then GABOB was added later on. The latter group patients were given only GABOB from the beginning.

Carotid compression was applied to 84 cases and EEG record thereof was taken. At the same time, the changes of the instantaenous values and integrated values were traced with the use of 2‐channel simultaneous automatic frequency analyser. In addition, a polygraphic observation was made by means of plethy‐smogram, cardiogram, cardio‐tachogram, pneumatogram, electro‐myogram, and eye‐ball movement. Of 84 cases, 53 had clinically diagnosed to have cerebral circulatory disorders, 21 without it, and as to the other 11 cases, no diagnostic determination was possible. Further, there was normal control group consisted of 10 persons.

Diamox was given to a series of epileptic patients, the majority of whom was 10 years of age or younger. At the start of administration of Diamox, all had frequent seizures and never less than one seizure daily. The following clinical results were obtained:
