Polarized lepton pair forward-backward asymmetries in B→K*ℓ+ℓ− decay beyond the standard model

Takhmasib Aliev; V. Bashiry; M. Savci

We study the polarized lepton pair forward-backward asymmetries in B→K*l+l− decay using a general, model independent form of the effective hamiltonian. We present the general expression for nine double-polarization forward-backward asymmetries. It is shown that, the study of the forward-backward asymmetries of the doubly-polarized lepton pair is a very useful tool for establishing new physics beyond the standard model.

decay are obtained, using a model independent effective Hamiltonian, including all possible interactions. Correlations between the averaged double-lepton polarization asymmetries and the branching ratio, as well as the averaged single-lepton polarization asymmetry are studied. It is observed that a study of the double-lepton polarization asymmetries can serve as a good test for establishing new physics beyond the standard model.

On the Mass and Decay Constant of K*(2)(1430) Tensor Meson

T. Aliev; V. Bashiry; M. Savci

The mass and decay constant of the ground state strange tensor meson K*2(1430) with I(JP) = 1/2(2+) are calculated using the QCD sum rules method. The results are consistent with the experimental data. It is found that SU(3) symmetry breaking effect constitutes about 20% of the decay constant.

decay are calculated using a general, model independent form of the effective Hamiltonian. The sensitivities of these asymmetries to the new Wilson coefficients are studied in detail. Furthermore, the correlations between averaged double-lepton polarization asymmetry and branching ratio are analyzed. It is shown that there exist certain regions of the new Wilson coefficients where new physics can be established by measuring the double-lepton polarization asymmetries only.

Double-Lepton Polarization Asymmetries and Polarized Forward Backward Asymmetries in The Rare b → sℓ + ℓ − Decays in a Single Universal Extra Dimension Scenario

V. Bashiry; K. Zeynali

We study the doubly-polarized lepton pair forward-backward asymmetries in (Lambda_b -> Lambda l^+ l^-) decay using a general, model independent form of the effective Hamiltonian. We present the general expression for nine double-polarization forward-backward asymmetries. It is observed that, the study of the forward-backward asymmetries of the doubly-polarized lepton pair is a very useful tool for establishing new physics beyond the standard model. Moreover, the correlation between forward-backward asymmetry and branching ratio is investigated. It is shown that there exist certain certain regions of the new Wilson coefficients where new physics can be established by measuring the polarized forward-backward asymmetry only.

Systematic analysis of the B s → f 0 ℓ + ℓ − in the universal extra dimension

T. Aliev; V. Bashiry; M. Savci

The rare B c → D * s,d l + l - decays are investigated in the framework of the three-point QCD sum rules approach. Considering the gluon condensate corrections to the correlation function, the form factors relevant to these transitions are calculated. The total decay width and branching ratio for these decays are also evaluated. The results for the branching ratios are in good agreement with the quark models.
