Journal of Engineering Physics | 2002

Dependence of the Condensation (Sticking) Coefficient on the Radius of Small Aerosol Particles

V. V. Levdanskii

The processes of condensation-evaporation and adsorption-desorption of molecules on small aerosol particles are investigated theoretically with account for the dependence of the condensation (sticking) coefficient on the particle size.

Journal of Engineering Physics | 2001

Influence of surface phenomena on the growth of aerosol particles in a buffer (admixture) gas

V. V. Levdanskii; J. Smolik; V. Zdimal; P. Moravec

The influence of a buffer (admixture) gas on the deposition of molecules of a vapor on particles of an aerosol system is investigated.

Journal of Engineering Physics | 2002

Chemical Deposition on Aerosol Particles

V. V. Levdanskii; J. Smolik; P. Moravec; V. Zdimal

Problems on the growth of aerosol particles in chemical deposition with allowance for the influence of a buffer (impurity) gas have been investigated theoretically.

Journal of Engineering Physics | 2003

Influence of the Temperature Distribution on Chemical Deposition in Internal Problems

V. V. Levdanskii; Jiří Smolík

The issue of uniform deposition of a substance for the two‐stage kinetics of a heterogeneous chemical reaction is investigated based on the molecular‐kinetic approach.

Journal of Engineering Physics | 2001

Kinetics of Physical and Chemical Deposition of a Substance from the Gas Phase in Channels

V. V. Levdanskii; J. Smolik

Based on the molecular-kinetic approach, the processes of physical and chemical deposition of a substance from the gas phase on the interior surface of a channel are investigated. The problem of deposition of films which are uniform in thickness is discussed.

Journal of Engineering Physics | 1998

Particle growth in chemical deposition from the gas phase

V. V. Levdanskii; P. Moravec; J. Smolik

The effect of the physicochemical processes occurring in an evaporator and a reactor on the growth of aerosol particles is investigated.

Journal of Engineering Physics | 1998

Particle growth in laser radiation-induced chemical deposition of a substance from the gas phase

V. V. Levdanskii; P. Moravec; I. Smolik

Consideration is given to problems of the kinetics of laser radiation-induced growth of aerosol particles in gas deposition of molecules with allowance for the chemical reaction.

Journal of Engineering Physics | 2013

Influence of size effects on chemical reactions inside a nanoparticle and on its surface

V. V. Levdanskii; J. Smolik; V. Zdimal; P. Moravec

Journal of Engineering Physics | 2010

Chemical reactions in nanoparticles

V. V. Levdanskii; J. Smolik; P. Moravec
