The main goal of this article is to identify the factors influencing flight delays from popular Greek destinations – Kos, Chania, Corfu, Rhodes, Heraklion, and Zakynthos. An airline operating in European region was monitored. Factors were analysed by contingency tables analysis and correspondence analysis. Unique data were gained from airline’s database and contained information about various reasons of delay. The high season of years 2008-2014 was monitored. It was proved from the analysis that the most frequent delay occurs in Zakynthos. The least delays appear at the Kos airport. Big differences of delay frequencies among monitored airports are evident in the evening. Delay caused by the delayed preceding flight is the most frequent delay reason. Delays caused by the airlines and suppliers originate the least often. Delays caused by the problems at the airport and in air traffic control occur the most frequently in case of very short delays up to 15 minutes. Delayed preceding flights cause mainly longer delays at monitored airports. The main goal of this article is to identify the factors influencing flight delays from popular Greek destinations – Kos, Chania, Corfu, Rhodes, Heraklion, and Zakynthos. Abstract The paper is focuses on research of the chosen field of study influence on finding employment for university graduates. The research was carried out at a random sample of tertiary education graduates, at the selected universities in Brno, Czech Republic. In the research, there were tested three hypotheses concerning the employment situation of graduates based on their choice of study field. Relative frequencies were used when processing the questionnaire-survey data to test statistical hypotheses. Both single- and multistage sorting was used to test various question combinations for independence. The survey findings reveal the relations among the graduated field of study and the possibility to apply for a proper job, to reach the expectation of job positions.

Abstract The paper focuses on the possibility of reviewing the expected lease term after the initial recognition of the leased subject in the lessees financial statements. The determination of methodical process and assessment of the possible reassessment of lease term effect on balance sheet items and profit or loss is the main aim of the paper. The authors’ approach is based on the current stage of convergence of U.S. GAAP and IFRS in the area of leases reporting. The possible methodological procedures used in the ED are analyzed for the purpose of consideration and quantification of probability of the option to extend the lease term in case of affected financial statements items. Statistical methods are used for processing.

This article is concerned with identifying economic factors primarily that affect birth rates in Czech Republic. To find the relationship between the magnitudes, we used the multivariate regression analysis and for modeling, we used a time series of annual values (1994-2011) both economic indicators and indicators related to demographics. Due to potential problems with apparent dependence we first cleansed all series obtained from the Czech Statistical Office using first differences. It is clear from the final model that meets all assumptions that there is a positive correlation between birth rates and the financial situation of households. We described the financial situation of households by GDP per capita, gross wages and consumer price index. As expected a positive correlation was proved for GDP per capita and gross wages and negative dependence was proved for the consumer price index. In addition to these economic variables in the model there were used also demographic characteristics of the workforce and the number of employed people. It can be stated that if the Czech Republic wants to support an increase in the birth rate, it is necessary to consider the financial support for households with small children.
