The paper is considering a problem of providing energy in small neighbourhoods consisting of the households and local industrial or commercial units (e.g. farms, workshops, offices). Such communities may benefit from the use of the Hybrid Renewable Energy Systems (HRES) harnessing solar and wind power, accumulating excess energy using Power Storage Banks and integrating to the External Power Grid (EPG). Phases of planning, design, installation and operation of HRESs are considered as interconnected complex tasks needing appropriate Requirement Analysis. Architecture and energy balance of the HRES are introduced where important role is devoted to the Energy Gateway Station. Characteristics of the exploiting of solar and wind potential energy and customer usage patterns in such communities are considered. Types of requests for energy use or its supply to EPG as well as principles of the operational logic of the HRES are introduced. Criteria for assessing of the effectiveness of HRES are briefly discussed.

This paper describes the features of Smart MicroGrid and explains the of prior building appropriate information model of this system. It was determined information power system evaluation techniques and existing methods that can be applied in information system with simulation tools classification. This paper compares different tools for modeling, which are based on using renewable energy sources. The system has to combine basic points: evaluation energy sources in region, their calculation, gives recommendation for building energy smart grid in micro grid level and modelling her work. Our goal is definition of existing approaches, which can be used in future system.

The purpose of this study is a solving the multicriteria task of choosing the optimal structure of a hybrid energy system with renewable sources. To achieve this goal the models for making decision on determination of all possible configurations of energy system and a selection of the optimal structure of its elements for each of the configuration were proposed. The proposed model differs from the existing ones by the ability to generate all possible configurations of the energy system depending on existing on the market installations of renewable energy sources.

This paper is devoted to the development of scientific and methodological foundations of improvement the information support of decision at management of power network with distributed generation. It is proposed to consider the power quality index as the main criterion of management. Using the theory of fuzzy sets, the assessment of the conformity of power quality indicators to electric energy quality limits is done. A method for estimating the quality of electrical energy is proposed which represents the measured histogram as a fuzzy representation indicator of quality of electric energy in the form of fuzzy sets with a step membership function. The method of integral evaluation of electrical energy quality for different types of load is developed. The presented method allows to formulate rules for managing the operating modes of the distributed electrical network by the decision support system.

This paper is devoted to the development of scientific and methodological foundations of improvement the information support of decision during planning stage of creation hybrid energy system with renewable energy sources. Here are proposed models of multiple-criteria decision-making for choosing the optimal structure of the grid within three interrelated valuation scenarios by defining a plurality of quality criteria in the form of explicit dependencies from linguistic variables. It was improved the model of structure synthesis of hybrid energy grid by using the methods of combinatorial logic. The model of analysis the technical and economic parameters of the system are proposed accordance to operating logic of the real system. Based on developed models in paper is proposed the information technology of decision support planning hybrid renewable energy system structure.

The tools for energy management of district heating on the consumer side are proposed in this article. The information system of making decision support in the management of heat supply which carries out the heating monitoring, forecast of heat consumption and decision support of the heating modes regulation is developed. To make the decisions on heating modes regulation the system of automatic heating control in individual heating substation is proposed. Using of these systems allows managing the heating system in individual heating substation and reducing heat consumption on the consumer side.
