Wireless multimedia sensor network (WMSN) takes more account of dealing with information-intensive data such as audio, image and video, it has much more wide foreground for application than traditional wireless sensor network. It has significance to research topology of WMSN aimed at some characteristic such as the larger media data capacity, limitation on computation, storage & energy and the requirements of transport quality. This paper introduces a novel clustered-control algorithm based on geographic locations, energy, priority of coverage, and multi-layers architecture. Detailed process is proposed including cluster heads’ election method and multimedia data transmission mechanism. The theoretical analysis and simulation experiments indicate that our improved algorithm can strengthen routing function, prolong the lifetime of network and reduce energy consumption.

In order to improve the efficiency of replica consistency management, one efficient consistency maintaining model is proposed. In this model, replica clustering coefficient is defined for representing social capacity, by which replica nodes are classified into multi-levels to form one replica-tree, and constitute a peer-to-peer network with first-class replica nodes of different VOs. The experimental results show that the proposed model can reduce conflict number and response time compared with some existing models.

Based on the review of recent development of evolutionary computation and the principle of free energy minimization of thermodynamics, a new thermodynamics evolutionary algorithm (TDEA) for solving six-hump camel back function optimization problem is proposed. Numerical experiments are conducted to measure the performance of thermodynamics evolutionary algorithm. The results show that thermodynamics evolutionary algorithm is of potential to obtain global optimum or more accurate solutions than other evolutionary methods.

The technology of QoS routing has become a great challenge in Wireless Mesh Networks (WMNs). There exist a lot of literatures on QoS routing in WMNs, but the current algorithms have some deficiencies, such as high complexity, poor scalability and flexibility. To solve the problems above, a multipath routing algorithm based on traffic prediction (MRATP) is proposed in WMNs. MRATP consists of three modules including an algorithm on multipath routing built, a congestion discovery mechanism based on wavelet-neural network and a load balancing algorithm via multipath. Simulation results show that MRATP has some characteristics, such as better scalability, flexibility and robustness. Compared with the current algorithms, MRATP has higher success ratio, lower end to end delay and overhead. So MRATP can guarantee the end to end QoS of WMNs.The technology of QoS routing has become a great challenge in Wireless Mesh Networks (WMNs). The exponential growth of the Internet coupled with the increasing popularity of dynamically generated content on the World Wide Web, has created the need for more and faster Web servers capable of serving the over 100 million Internet users. To converge the control method has emerged as a promising technique to solve the Web QoS problem. In this paper, a model of adaptive session is presented and a session flow self-regulating algorism based on Kalman Filter are proposed towards Web Server. And a Web QoS self-regulating scheme is advanced. To attain the goal of on-line system identification, the optimized estimation of QoS parameters is fulfilled by utilizing Kalman Filter in full domain. The simulation results shows that the proposed scheme can guarantee the QoS with both robustness and stability.

Energy efficiency is a very important criterion for the wireless sensor networks. The technology of data aggregation can be adopted to decrease the power costs of redundancy information and delay time. In this paper, we proposed an optimization data aggregation routing algorithm based on ant colony schema (ACAR) using agent collaboration and migration for wireless sensor networks. A number of ant-like mobile agents traverse the wireless sensor network in search of data aggregation paths between given source-destination node pairs while seeking to fulfill a set of requirements (the path objective) provided by the owner/producer of the agents. Our simulation results show that our algorithms perform well in energy efficient compared with directed diffusion protocol.
