The title compound, C21H17OP, is a rare example of a structurally characterized allenyl phosphine oxide. The allenyl moiety is linear, as expected, with a bond angle of 179.2 (3)° at the central C atom.

In the structure of the title compound, C12H11NO4, the two furan rings, one to a greater degree than the other, adopt envelope conformations and are twisted slightly relative to the benzene ring. The olefinic bond displays a trans configuration.

In the title compound, C16H16O3S, the methoxy group and sulfonyl moiety are cis with respect to the olefinic bond. The two benzene rings, located trans with respect to the olefin bond, are almost perpendicular to each other, forming a dihedral angle of 75.81 (11)°.
