Software Development Practice for FDA-Compliant Medical Devices

Software development in medical devices by implementing lightweight processes in formal regulatory environments is an issue. This paper describes software development practice with the project of Digital Subtraction Angiography (DSA) medical device, and introduces experiences to ensure FDA regulatory compliance In addition, we introduce a hybrid methodology adopted in our software development process which is to use agile method to reduce project risk, and use formal waterfall-like lifecycle to create documents.

A Metadata-based Interoperable Digital Rights Management System Architecture

Digital rights management (DRM) technology aims to distribute digital contents to consumers in a controlled manner that can protect the copyright of digital contents. In order to meet consumer’s expectations, DRM approaches and related services and applications upon which they are based should coexist in an environment that supports interoperability. In this paper, we propose a Digital Rights Management system architecture based on ChinaDRM metadata schema; The approach supports import and export different types of rights license, and also provides the rights transfer capability, so that it can achieve a certain level of interoperability which is proved by a practical distance education project.

Abstract Oil-Painting Using Texture Synthesis

This paper introduces an improved algorithm based on Efros algorithm to create abstract oil painting by selectively copying patches of the source image onto the image to be stylized. Contrast to Efros algorithm, our algorithm provides better computing error optimization; another improvement is to change the direction of searching for a better performance. Experimental results show that our algorithm is faster and the abstract oil painting artistic quality of the resulting image is better.

Genetic algorithm optimization research based on simulated annealing

As a kind of mature algorithm, genetic algorithm has been widely used in the field of Artificial intelligence and has played an important role in promoting the development of artificial intelligence technology. This paper analyzes the principle and characteristics of genetic algorithm and introduces an improved algorithm combining with simulated annealing algorithm and genetic algorithm. As an example of solving the TSP problem, this paper analyzes the advantages of the improved algorithm. We will discuss the development direction and prospect of genetic algorithm in the field of artificial intelligence.

The Implementation of Crawling News Page Based on Incremental Web Crawler

Web crawler technology is the technology which downloads web pages through the program. This paper implements incremental Python web crawler, uses Scrapy crawler framework, crawls news web pages from mainstream web sites incrementally in real time, and deposits data in the database. The key technology of incremental crawling is removing the repetition of web links, and the most common method is using Bloom filter. This paper implements a simplified Bloom filter. The result shows that the web crawler can monitor the news pages well.
