By applying co-integration analysis, the Granger causality test and an error correction model, the dependency between the energy consumption and the gross domestic product of China was examined. In a further step an analysis was done to establish a correlation between the economic growth of different industries and Chinas energy consumption. An evidence-based study showed that a co-integration relationship exists between the gross energy consumption and the GDP of China and that the two variables possess bi-directional causality. The energy consumption for the secondary industry has a markedly stimulative effect to the economic growth. This paper also uses an error correction model (ECM) to explain the short-term behavior of energy demands.

A three-layer model for digital communication in a mine is proposed. Two basic platforms are discussed: A uniform transmission network and a uniform data warehouse. An actual, ControlNet based, transmission network platform suitable for the Jining No.3 coal mine is presented. This network is an information superhighway intended to integrate all existing and new automation subsystems. Its standard interface can be used with future subsystems. The network, data structure and management decision-making all employ this uniform hardware and software. This effectively avoids the problems of system and information islands seen in traditional mine-automation systems. The construction of the network provides a stable foundation for digital communication in the Jining No.3 coal mine.

10 risk factors are obtained from the view of energy risk management. The weight of each risk factor is decided by the sequence of PCA-LZNMAP model. Risk coordinate diagram, which intuitively reflects the attention degree of the energy risk factors and the measures which should be taken, was drawn based on these weights. At the same time, it is concluded that the evaluation value of energy risk is 6.33465 in 2008, and the state is between attention and danger.
