Antiplatelet Effect of Leonurine from Leonurus sibiricus

Leonurine (1) was simply isolated from the aerial part of Leonurus sibircus var. albiflora. Their structures were established on the basis of spectral evidence. Leonurine showed a significant inhibited rabbit platelet aggregation induced by thrombin, arachidonic acid, and collagen in vitro with an IC50 of 97.22 μM, 31.03 μM, and 44.48 μM, respectively.

New sesquiterpenoids from the rhizomes of Atractylodes macrocephala

Three new sesquiterpenoids, atractylenolide V, Atractylenolide VI and Atractylenolide VII, together with four known sesqiterpenoids were isolated from the rhizomes of Atractylodes macrocephala. Their structures were established on the basis of spectral evidence.

Isoflavonoids and but-2-enolides from the roots of Pueraria lobata

An isoflavone, 7, 8, 4-trihydroxyisoflavone, and a peptide, (+)-3-(4-hydroxybenzyl)-6-iso butylpiperazine-2, 5-dione, together with eight known corn pounds including five isoflavonoids and three but-2-enolides were isolated from the roots of Pueraria lobata. Their structures were established on the basis of spectral evidence.

Anti-adenovirus Cycloartane Triterpenoids from the Rhizome of Cyathea lepifera

A new cycloartane triterpenoid, cyclolaudenyl acetate (2), together with three known compounds, were isolated fromthe rhizome of Cyathea lepifera (J. Sm.) Copel. (Cyatheacea). Its structure was established on the basis of spectral evidence. Cyclolaudenol (1) and cyclolaudenyl acetate (2) showed a significant against adenovirus in vitro at dose of 50 and 10 g/mL, respectively.
