Fluid catalytic cracking process for producing light olefins

Paul E. Eberly; William E. Winter

A fluid catalytic cracking process for producing light olefins and low emissions fuel products. The feedstock is relatively low in nitrogen and relatively high in hydrogen content. The catalyst contains a mixture of zeolite-Y and ZSM-5. The feedstock can be characterized as having less than about 1500 wppm nitrogen and greater than about 12 wt.% hydrogen.
