Classification for Materials on the Bahà'ì Religion:

In a previous article in this journal («Classification of Materials on the Baha i Religion: Expansion of Library of Congress BP300-395,» 8(2) 1987/88: 99-133) the author outlined the process of developing a classification system for Baha i materials at the Baha i World Centre Library in Haifa, Israel. Although the Baha i World Centre Library chose to use the system based upon the Library of Congress, one of the steps in the process was the outlining of a scheme based upon the Dewey Decimal Classification. The author, former Director of the Baha i Library, has refined the «B200» Dewey-based classification, and offers it here as an example of a specialized development similar to that of the Utah Library Associations M200 schedule for Mormonism. Baha i libraries around the world that are more familiar with the Dewey Classification will find this particular development very useful to their own work
