Müllerian duct cysts are rare but they can cause significant abdominal and vesical symptoms. Excision of these cysts entails a major surgical effort that usually involves a transvesical approach. To our knowledge we report the first case of successful laparoscopic excision of a large 7 cm. müllerian duct cyst with preservation of potency and continence.

We report a case of Wegener granulomatosis presenting as a destructive urethral mass. The initial clinical impression was carcinoma, and a urinary diverting procedure was considered before the correct diagnosis was established. The importance of recognizing this unusual disease and its dramatic response to appropriate therapy are emphasized.
