Zur Darstellung und Struktur von Pyrazolon‐Azomethinfarbstoffen

Die Darstellung von Azomethin‐Farbstoffen 1 aus Pyrazolin‐5‐onen und N,N‐Dimethyl‐p‐nitrosoanilin wird beschrieben. Durch Verwendung von 1,4‐Diazabicyclo[2,2,2]octan anstelle von Natriumcarbonat als Katalysator ist eine deutliche Ausbeutesteigerung an 1 möglich. Mittels 1H‐NMR‐ und IR‐Spektroskopie wird die Konfiguration der Azomethine ermittelt. Ist C‐3 unsubstituiert, wird die E‐Konfiguration bevorzugt, trägt C‐3 einen Methyl‐oder Phenylsubstituenten, so liegt die Z‐Konfiguration vor. Dies ist auf sterische Gründe zurückzuführen.
