The research of RFID middleware’s data management model

With the development of RFID applications, the rapidly increasing number of companies actively participated in the RFID system development and the RFID devices which adopt the different communications protocol. So the RFID middleware becomes a very hot topic. RFID middleware is a new breed of application software which facilitates data communication between automatic identification equipments like RFID readers and enterprise applications. At the same time, the data of the application program are written in the tag and data security is very important to ensure application software security such as WMS, ERP. This paper refers to data management model of RFID middleware to increase the data security and tag capacity and describe the architecture of RFID middleware. Because the capacity of tag is limited, the store space of the ciphertext is must be considered and it is possible that the key table is very big in order to reduce the query speed. So this system used two-step encryption and adopted improved the transposition encryption. To increase the storing capacity of RFID tag, this paper adopt LZW compression algorithm. The RFID middleware rapidly becomes the common interface of different RFID devices.

The application of game theory in the vehicle routing problem in logistics distribution system

This paper studies the definition, classification, model and algorithm of vehicle routing optimization which is considered the major task in logistic distribution and it is also a series of widely used NP difficult issues. Whatpsilas more, the research applies game theory, which is often taken as a branch of applied mathematics and economics, to VRP simulation and evaluates the efficiency of game theory in VRP according to data of Jipsilanan Tobacco Company. To conclude, the researchers make a brief analysis of the research and the contemporary development in this field, and bring up envisagement.

The Applied Research Based on Decision Tree of Data Mining In Third-Party Logistics

The key question of decision tree algorithm is selecting the best division standard. This article introduces the building methods and steps of ID3 algorithm of decision tree. Based on the training set, by computing and comparing continuously, we selected the appropriate property as the tree root, as sub tree root, and repeated the process continually, and build the optimized decision tree in the end. Furthermore, we applied the decision tree on the analysis of the customer group of the third-party logistics company, and got some practical values.

A coordination model of supply chain for deterioration items

This paper develops a lot-sizing coordination model with one manufacture and multiple retailers, in which. the retailers act as the leader and the manufacture buyer acts as the follower. At first, the retailerspsila economic order quantity model and the manufacturepsilas economic production quantity model is discussed respectively, taking into account the effects of deteriorating and that the retailers and the manufacture act independently and rationally, each maximizing their own respective profit. Then an integrated production-inventory lot sizing model under cooperation mode is presented, by introducing a price discount policy which considers both quantity increased discount and quantity decreased one. The numerical example illustrates that adopting this coordination mechanism, we can lower down the total cost of supply chain, increase the general profits, and obtain a ldquowin-winrdquo result for both sides.

A Hybrid Sales Forecasting Method Based on Stable Seasonal Pattern Models and BPNN

Since many operations of corporation are depend on sales forecasting. Its very important for corporations predict their sales data accurately and reliably. Most of retail businesses are seasonally, therefore, lots of them are using seasonal sales forecasting methods to forecast their sales data and get better results. This paper proposes a hybrid sales forecasting method which combines stable seasonal pattern model and back propagation neural network (BPNN) to forecast retail sales. Practical forecast result in commodity shows its more accurate than typical seasonal forecasting methods.

A Real Case of Routing Design for Less-Than-Truckload Motor Carriers Using Genetic Algorithm

How to minimize costs while maintaining a certain level of service is the main concern for most less-than-truckload motor carriers. Hence it is needed to consolidate flows of small shipments and to determine all routes for a fleet of vehicles. In this paper, we proposed a model to describe the routing problem of a real LTL carrier to minimize the long-haul cost with constraints of service time, capacities of different vehicles and management rules. And this paper solved this problem with genetic algorithm and gave the final results using real data of a company in Shandong province, China.

A Hybrid Intelligent Algorithm for Vehicle Pick-up and Delivery Problem with Time Windows

In this paper a hybrid intelligent algorithm is presented to solve the pick-up and delivery problem with time windows (PDPTW), which combines cluster algorithm, genetic algorithm and tabu search. At first, the multi-vehicle PDPTW problem is transformed into several single-vehicle PDPTW problems by using clustering algorithm, then initial solution for tabu search is constructed by arranging the best solutions of single-vehicle PDPTW problems which obtained by using genetic algorithm, at last the optimal solution is obtained by performing tabu search. In addition, a gradually increase strategy of the number of cluster from the minimal feasible number is proposed, to guarantee the minimization of fleet. The computational results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method to solve the PDPTW problem.
