Fuzzy immune sliding mode control based hydro turbine governor

To meet the increasing requirements on the performance, a new type of fuzzy immune sliding mode controller(FISMC) for the hydraulic turbine governing system is presented. Controller is finished by incorporating sliding mode control theory, immune algorithm with fuzzy control technology. First, a fuzzy model of the governing system is constructed to represent the local dynamic behaviors of the governing system. A global controller is then derived by combining all local state feedback controllers and a global supervisory sliding mode controller. For improving robustness and tracking performance, immune feedback control is paralleled with sliding mode control. The simulation results show the effectiveness and feasibility of the integrated controller.

Adaptive Fuzzy Immune Sliding Mode Control for a Class of Uncertain Nonlinear Systems

In this paper, a stable adaptive fuzzy immune sliding mode controller (AFISMC) for a class of nonlinear uncertain systems is investigated. The fuzzy system is applied to approximate the unknown nonlinear function of plant, and then the estimation value of nonlinear function is used to design the control variable, the immune feedback system is used as a compensator for the fuzzy sliding control. The proposed approach does not need a bound to be known, only requiring that it exists, and has not any assumption for initial condition. The approach is applied to an inverted pendulum system via significant disturbances. Analysis of simulations reveals that proposed method is robust in the presence of uncertainties and bounded external disturbances.

Ancillary services are essential to ensure safe operation of Power system. The hydropower stations regulating feature gives it innate advantage to provide ancillary services. This paper firstly introduces the Ancillary services of power system,on that basis designs and develops a collecting and analyzing system of Hydroelectric Power Station Ancillary services by virtual instrument techniques,which provides a technical platform for the cost analysis of the ancillary services,and finally the system is applied to Wuxijiang power plant to analyze the cost of its ancillary services.

Adaptive sliding mode controller for a class of nonlinear system with uncertainty

In this paper, a novel robust nonlinear sliding mode controller for a class of nonlinear system with parameter uncertainty and disturbance is proposed. The controller is designed in a backstepping manner, proportional-integral-derivative(PID) stabilizing signal of the virtual error is introduced in the design procedure. First, according to the backstepping approach, series Lyapunov functions are constructed step by step, the adaptive law of damping coefficient is given in the second step, and finally, a novel sliding surface is designed. The whole control law is obtained by applying the sliding mode control theory, so the disturbance is attenuated. To validate the control law, some simulations were carried on, the results showed that the proposed control method is able to achieve a quite satisfactory control effect.

In this paper, a novel robust nonlinear sliding mode generator excitation controller for single machine infinite bus(SMIB) with parameter uncertainty and disturbance is proposed. An adaptive double immune sliding mode controller (ADISMC) for a class of nonlinear uncertain systems is investigated in this paper. The T-S fuzzy system is applied to approximate the unknown nonlinear function of plant, and then the estimation value of nonlinear function is used to design the control law, the double immune feedback system is used as the compensator for the fuzzy sliding control. The proposed approach does not need a known bound, but requires the existence of such a bound, and has not any assumption for initial condition. The approach is applied to an inverted pendulum system with disturbances. Analysis of simulations shows that proposed method is robust in the presence of uncertainties and bounded external disturbances.
