A new nickel complex, bis[S‐hydrazyl‐p‐N‐(4‐dibutylaminophenyl)methylenedithiocarbazate]nickel(II) has been synthesized. It was characterized by elemental analysis and X‐ray crystallography. The crystal structure of the complex belongs to the triclinic system with the space group P‐1, a=8.920(2) Å, b=10.080(2) Å, c=12.763(3) Å, α=92.12(3)°, β=110.36(3)°, γ=115.03(3)°, U=951.6(4) Å3, Z=1, d=1.277 g cm−3.
