In order to reduce torsion vibration of automotive powertrain, angular stiffness formula of arc helix spring was built according to the performance parameter of a C-grade car. Based on the expression, a method of optimization design about arc helix spring is proposed with the variable radian. A new Dual Mass Flywheel (DMF) with 6 arc helix springs is designed. The torsion vibration simulation model of automotive power train is established by Msc. Easy 5 and the system is analyzed. Further, the experiment is made and proves that the design of DMF can satisfy the use of the car.

Zr<inf>41.2</inf>Ti<inf>13.8</inf>Cu<inf>12.5</inf>Ni<inf>10</inf>Be<inf>22.5</inf> bulk metallic glass (BMG) alloy obeys different yield criterions under different stress states. In order to accurately describe yield behavior of BMG alloy and clarify the effect of middle principal stress on material yield and fracture, Unified Strength Theory is introduced to study plastic yield behavior of BMG alloy. The unified expression of yield function and its corresponding yield locus on π plane of Zr<inf>41.2</inf>Ti<inf>13.8</inf>Cu<inf>12.5</inf>Ni<inf>10</inf>Be<inf>22.5</inf> BMG alloy are obtained.
