An improved digital watermarking algorithm based on block-SVD (singular value decomposition) is put forward, which has better robustness. It can deal with the rectangle matrices directly and can extract better-quality watermarks. It takes little time to embed and extract the watermark in large images and this method can avoid some disadvantages such as the distortion caused by the computing error when extracting the watermark in the diagonal direction. Robustness testing results and time comparing analysis between SVD and block-SVD are presented in this paper. Compared with traditional Cox method, this algorithm has better robustness, faster speed and is more practical

This paper presents a new image retrieval method which is based on color and texture features. By using fuzzy quantization (which is based on a linear subjection function in the quantization of HSV color space), this method attempts to make the quantization results more accessible to human perception; furthermore, according to the information of the extracted dominant color of partition, we introduce a neighborhood color matrix which is used to describe the relative color spatial distribution, for the purpose of improving the robustness of image transfiguration. With the supplementary information of image textures, our method combines both the image and texture features to conduct composite image retrieval. Our experimental results show that this method can greatly improve the retrieval accuracy.

In this paper, a knowledge acquisition method is proposed in incomplete information system. Firstly, according to the rough set theory some improvement is made to the discernible matrix; then with integration of the self-adaptive genetic algorithm, a new knowledge acquisition algorithm to mine the consistent rules and inconsistent rules from the incomplete information system is presented. Furthermore, according to the study of confidence degree and support degree of association rule in complete information system, the rule confidence degree and support degree is defined within the framework of incomplete information system. Through the examination of experimental results, this algorithm is proved effective, especially to large incomplete information systems.

Mobile agent technology can be used as one of the key technologies for new componentware frameworks. Communication mechanism of mobile agent plays a very important role in mobile agent systems. Communication mechanism could satisfy some requirements, such as location-transparency, reliability and high-efficiency. This paper introduces the current various communication algorithms and mechanisms for mobile agent, and summarizes their advantages and disadvantages. Subsequently, a new communication mechanism for mobile agent with the conception of virtual agent is put forward in this paper. In many areas of image retrieval, pattern recognition and data mining, one is ofen confronted with some form of dimensionality reduction. In this paper, we introduce a algorithm of Principal Components Analysis-Locality Preserving Projections ( PCA-LPP ). This algorithm can compute the principal components of a sequence of data set and at the time optimally preserves the neighborhood structure of the data set. This procedure is done by merging the runs of two algorithms based on principal component analysis (PCA) and Locality Preserving projections (LPP) running sequentially. This algorithm is applied to image retrieval problem. Simulation results on Corel image database showed better accuracy rate of this algorithm compared to PCA and LPP algorithms.

This paper describes a personalized multimedia retrieval frame based on user interest through the multi-model cross-mutual knowledge base. The most important feature of the frame is to integrate the multi- model data into a seamless retrieval system. It calculates both the semantic and content level similarity between media object and the query condition. And, using user interest model to push interesting information and sort the inquiry results, so that users can easily and quickly find interesting objects.

Combined with intelligent algorithms and dynamic multi-agent technology, this paper proposes an agile logistics distribution optimization model for scheduling vehicle routing problem (VRP) timely. This model uses frame structures to describe symbolic knowledge for models target function and constraints, so that some issues involved in the logistics scheduling optimization can be done away with. The results of simulation experiments prove that this model has mighty efficiency and bright future.
