Sugarcane bagasse was used as start materials to extract nanocellulose fibers. The morphology was investigated by scanning electron microscopy. The result indicated that the nanocellulose is successfully extracted by a series of alkali and acid treatment. The nancellulose is characterized by nanowire structure, and possesses high aspect ratio.

The carbon template was prepared by pyrolysis with different heating rate. The weight loss and anisotropic shrinkage of carbon template was calculated. The morphology and microstructure of carbon were characterized by scanning electron microscopy. The results suggest that the heating rate has evident effect on surface shape of carbon template, but little effect on weight loss and anisotropic shrinkage of carbon template.

There are some problems about existing suitcases that should be solved and human factors engineering methodology is very important for suitcases design. In this paper, we use reflective materials, LED lights and so on to enhance the security and functionality of suitcase by human factors engineering ideas. And according to the improved design, we build a model and a real production. Then we evaluate the production satisfaction of people from four aspects by ergonomics.

The concentrate of XuanLong oolitic hematite after magnetic roasting-magnetic separation are further refined. The anionic reverse flotation process is used. The three factors and three levels orthogonal experiments are designed to find appropriate reagent regime and shorten the time. The results demonstrate that the appropriate reagent regime and the effect of the various factors to flotation can be found through nine experiments. Final reagent regime is that the dosage of starch is 1000g/t, the dosage of lime is 3000g/t, the dosage of collector is 500g/t. The final concentrate grade is 63.83%.The recovery is 84.59%.

Biomorphic TiO2 was respectively prepared by two different titania sol infiltration routes. The morphology and microstructure of TiO2 samples were characterized by scanning electron microscopy. The results suggest that the final TiO2 poorly replicates the shape and microstructure of carbon template by repeating five infiltration procedures. By another repeated infiltration/pyrolysis route, the TiO2 better retains the shape and part microstructure of carbon template.

The biomorphic porous carbon was prepared by high temperature pyrolysis at 1000oC. The pyrolysis process of cotton stalk was measured by thermogravimetric analysis (TG). The morphology and microstructure of carbon were characterized by scanning electron microscopy. The phase composition of the resulting sample was analyzed by X-ray diffraction. As compared with the dried cotton stalk, the carbon has an anisotropic shrinkage with 20–40% and about 80% weight loss. The carbon retains the tubular cell structures.
