Summary of Study on the GIS Partial Discharge Detection Technology and SF6 Alternative Gas

Gas insulated switchgears occupy an important position in the power system. But the partial discharge would occur because of insulation defect, PD will lead to the GIS insulation damage after a long time, and will lead to serious consequences without treatment in time, therefore, the PD detection is particularly important. PD is detected by its secondary physical phenomena, including the phenomena of sound, light, electromagnetic waves and gas decomposition products and so on. At present, many scholars in China and foreign countries have done a comprehensive study on insulation detection technology of GIS and have achieved a large number of results. The author do a detailed overview on the detection technical of GIS insulation state, including GIS platform and the simulation of typical insulation defectspartial discharge detection methods, SF6 alternative gas and pattern recognition. These works provide a valuable reference for follow-up study of GIS.

Design of Data Acquisition System Based on Ethernet and Virtual Instrument Technology

Ethernet based on TCP/IP is a standard open network, which promotes the development of data acquisition in the direction of network. Data acquisition and processing systems connected by Ethernet make the data acquisition terminals (lower computer) and processing control center (upper computer) from integrated to discrete. Separate data acquisition terminals can realize miniaturization and modularization and increase the flexibility of the application. A new type, low cost, high precision data acquisition terminal based on ARM processor was designed for solving the problem of complicated structure, big volume and high cost of traditional data acquisition system. Combined with the technologies of network communication, a data acquisition PC system based on virtual instrument technology was designed by LabVIEW.

Research of DSP Code Generation Based on Matlab-DSP Integrated Design

The super capacitor can effectively prolong the operation of the energy storage system, improve its economic performance and power output capacity. But the design of the super capacitor is not perfect, the design method is also very troublesome.In this paper, through studying the different implementations of Matlab - DSP integrated design methods,I tried to find the optimal method to achieve the most simple and rapid Matlab - DSP integrated design. Build models in the Simulink, complete the design of the model, and convert it to DSP assembly language and download to the target board. The main process of this method is that the above steps. Apply this method in the design of the super capacitor , we can greatly speed up the development speed.

Research of Signal Processing Based on Kalman Filter and Particle Filter

The current transducer is the premise condition of electricity measurement, relay protection, monitoring and diagnosis system, and power system analysis. This paper introduces the principle and signal to noise characteristics of optical current transducer (OCT), which is based on Faraday Magneto-optic effect. Then, proposed uses the kalman filter and particle filtering method to improve the output SNR of OCT, for the OCT has a low SNR. At last, Establish the both particle filter dynamic model for AC and DC situation, After choosing appropriate parameters of the kalman filtering and particle filtering mix method on the matlab simulation of the above situation, the results show that the kalman filtering and particle filtering mix method can improve the output SNR and measuring accuracy.

Research of Super Capacitor Charging and Discharging System Based on DSP28335

The application of new energy resources such as wind power gets more and more attention, with the environmental problems and energy issues have become increasingly prominent. But the volatility and the characteristics of intermittent has greatly restricted the efficient utilization of the new energy. This paper designed a control circuit, the super capacitor as the energy storage device and the 28335 as the core. This circuit controls the charging and discharging of the super capacitor through the system sampling by 28335, so as to realize to the instantaneous compensation effect on the power fluctuation of the grid connected wind turbine, smooth wind farms output power and voltage. Apply this method by super-capacitor and TMS320F28335, we can provide a useful reference and efficient application of new energy.

Research on the Modeling of the Faraday Effect Based on the OCT Used in Power System

Smart grid puts forward higher requirement for measurement which the traditional electromagnetic CTs cannot meet for its disadvantages of saturation and low transient accuracy. For its good performances, OCT is very suitable for power system, especially the system with high voltage level to improve equipment safety and to reduce costs. In this paper, magneto-optical sensing system based on Faraday effect is applied in the measurement of the electric current and the principles and simulation models of Faraday effect based on COMSOL Multiphysics are discussed in detail. It can be seen that Faraday magneto-optical effect could be simulated to calculate the electric current distribution , which is a new research direction.

A Method of Interface between Matlab PV Model and PSASP Transient Stability Program

PV system model was set up in Matlab, and improved disturbance observation of MPPT tracking technology was proposed, as well as the reactive decoupling of active inverter control strategy. By the UPI of PSASP, Matlab engine was used in a user program to achieve the cross-platform interactive simulation between PSASP and Matlab simulation software. Controlling the simulation process, the problems of variable transmission has been solved. And the PV systems and PSASP transient stability calculation program can conduct interaction simulation on hybrid step.

TCP Communications Research Based on Embedded WinCE and LabVIEW

For the embedded devices Equipped with ARM processors and WinCE operating system,This paper proposes the use of LabVIEW programming software Touch Panel module for network communication programming.This paper describes the use of PB (Platform Builder) tools for WinCE operating system custom-tailoring process.Compared with traditional text-based programming,LabVIEW graphical programming be shorter development cycle, the program interface more image-attracting.Take network communication as an example,the paper demonstrate the use of LabVIEW software written network communication program for embedded devices equipped with WinCE operating system,and achieved between embedded devices and PC data communication via TCP protocol,and get the expected results, provide a fast and reliable method for the next research.

Overview of Ontology-Based Power System Applications

With the construction of smart grid, an increasing number of resources of smart grid knowledge base inevitably lead to the information island of power system and low utilization ratio of power system knowledge. Introduced the ontology for knowledge representation of Smart Grid domain and constructed a repository to be shared by each application software system. It can enhance the power system simulation and analysis capabilities of the complex state of the Smart Grid. At present, Smart Grid lacks of researches on knowledge applications based on ontology technology. This paper introduces some typical applications based on ontology, elaborates the application status of the ontology in power system. According to the ontology technology applied to typical domains, it looks forward to the direction of ontology-based applications in power system.
