3-D Construction of Imaginary Objects by the Method of Holographic Stereogram

The methods of reconstruction of three-dimensional objects may be divided into the following three groups. The first includes the ordinary holographic reconstruction1)2) of objects which are illuminated with coherently diffused light. The second utilizes the so-called integral photography3)4) which was studied initially during the first decade of this century. Recently, it has been developed by the introduction of holographic techniques, based on studies carried out by Pole5), Collier6) and his co-workers, and many others. The third utilizes “Stereogram”.7) Similar but imperfect reconstruction device for the third method is called commercially: “Lenticular Stereogram”.
