Design and Implementation of PLC Automatic Welding System with Power-saving

자동차, 조선, 발전설비 및 산업기계 등 거의 전 산업분야의 제품 생산단계에 용접기술이 사용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 구조용 금속제품 제조공장에서 많이 사용되어지는 PLC CO₂ 자동용접 시스템의 설계 및 구현에 관해 조사하였다. 이를 위해 시스템의 구동부 지지대에 대해 구조해석을 수행하였으며 전력절약형 시스템의 구현을 위해 자동전압조정기의 사양선택, 시스템의 상호인터페이스 및 회로도 설계를 고안하였다. 그 결과 용접 구동부 지지대의 설계가 안전함을 확인하였으며, 또한 PLC CO₂ 자동용접 시스템은 다품종 소량 생산형 구조물 제조공장의 용접자동화에 적합하며 생산성 향상, 품질안정 및 전력 절약에 기여할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

Study on Thermal Efficiency according to Configuration Change and Contact Resistance of Solar Collector with Single Evacuated Tube-type

The use of solar energy among renewable energy tends to increase because of its infinity and cleanness of resources. Even though the consumption rate of solar energy in our country is still low, however, in recent years, the research for solar energy have been widely conducted due to policy support of government. This study was performed to investigate the efficiency of heat collection using solar collector with single evacuated tube-type. As the results, the temperature of radiation fin for solar collector with single evacuated tube-type was lower in spite of high temperature of heat pipe compared that of double evacuated tube-type. In order to increase the efficiency of heat collection, it was confirmed that the loss of heat collection due to contact resistance as well as performance improvement for solar collector should be decreased.

Study on Performance Evaluation and Efficiency Comparison for Solar Collector with Thermosyphon Tube-type

The use of solar energy among renewable energy tends to increase because of infinity and cleanness of resources. Even though the consumption rate of solar energy in our country is still low, however, in recent years, the research for solar energy have been widely conducted due to policy support of government. This study was performed to make the system of performance test for solar collector and to investigate thermal efficiency for solar collector with thermosyphon tube-type. As a result, in case of indoors measurement using halogen lamp, thermal efficiency for solar collector with thermosyphon tube-type was increased about 15~22% after 120 minutes compared with that of solar collector with double evacuated tube-type. In addition, in case of outdoors measurement, thermal efficiency of thermosyphon tube-type was showed maximum about 46% higher than double evacuated tube-type.

Evaluation on Performance of Hybrid Heating System with Solar Collector of Thermosyphon Tube Type

Recently, even though the researches on renewable energy like geothermal, wind, solar energy have been performed widely, its use-rate in total energy is still low. This study was carried out to investigate the performance of hybrid heating system, which consisted of solar collector of thermosyphon tube type and X-L pipe boiler. Especially, new type of solar collector was tried and compared with double tube type and, futhermore, performance and safety on X-L pipe boiler were investigated. As the results, efficiency of solar collector of thermosyphon tube type was higher 20.7% than that of double tube type, mainly due to its structural characteristics. It was also confirmed that temperature of special heat medium used X-L pipe boiler rose up about 20% rapidly in comparison with that of pure water.
