Palladium-catalysed cross-coupling of organotellurium compounds with organoboronic acids

The palladium-catalysed cross-coupling of diaryl- and divinyl-tellurium dichlorides with organoboronic acids has been accomplished in the presence of PdCl2(PPh3)2 and NaOMe (2 equiv) in DME/H2O (4: 1) at 50 °C in moderate yields.

The palladium-catalyzed arylation reaction of vinyl epoxides with organobismuth compounds afforded the aryl-substituted (E)-allylic alcohols via ring opening of epoxides. Alternatively, the palladium-catalyzed reaction of diol acetonides and carbonates with bismuth derivatives afforded the aryl-substituted diol acetonides and carbonates without ring opening.

A novel intramolecular Prins type cyclisation of cyclopropylvinylic aldehydes promoted by TiCl(4) under mild reaction conditions to form cis-cyclic products in high yields has been accomplished.

Palladium-catalyzed regioselective arylation of silyloxy compounds with triarylantimony diacetates

The palladium-catalyzed arylation of enol silyl ethers, siloxydienes, silyloxycyclopropane with triarylantimony diacetates was carried out in the presence of PdCl2(CH3CN)2 (5 mol%) in DME–CH3CN at room temperature under mild conditions.
