Research of Machine Vision Based Recognition of Burning through Point of Sintering

Zhi Kun Chen; Ying Wang; Yu Tian Wang; Yi Li

The accurate prediction and control of burning through point are the keys of improving the quantity and quality of sinter. The position of burning through point can be determined by identifying the flame image features of the tail through the sinter. How to effectively segment the image of the flame is the key to identify the characteristics of the flame. By using the approach of the c-means clustering flame image segmentation based on particle-pair optimizer, the flame image of the sintering machine plant-tail section will be segmented in this paper. Frequently, the standard c-means clustering algorithm may easily immerse in partial minimum and slow converging speed. However, this new calculation method can overcome these shortcomings. Besides, the results of the experiment also show that this method has many other advantages, such as effectively removing the halo of the sintering machine plant-tail section, high segmenting speed and obvious segmenting effects. This approach will lay a good foundation for the extraction and identification of image features in the following stages.

The Analysis and Research on Digital Holography Signal Based on Wavelet Theory

Yu Tian Wang; Dong Sheng Wang; Wei Wei Pan

When introduce the wavelet theory to filter the hologram and the reconstructed image in the digital holography, the noise of the reconstructed image is greatly reduced. In the off-axis digital holography, the zero-order wave is decreased dramatically when after a wavelet filter, at the same time, the speckle noise is also reduced, and it turns out that the resolution of the reconstruction image is improved greatly. The system launches the research thoroughly on the three-dimensional body digital holographic technology, from the theory to the application, from the simulation to the experiment, and has elaborated and analyzed each characteristic of three-dimensional body digital holographic technology. It proposes many kinds of improved effective method of three-dimensional body digital holographic restructuring information, and finally has effectively explored the three-dimensional body digital holographic technology application through the experiment.

Application of 3-D Fluorescence Spectrum and PARAFAC Method in Petroleum Pollutant Measurement and Identification

Zhao Pan; Yu Tian Wang; Xiao Qing Shao; Xi Jun Wu

The paper used the CCl4 solutions of three kinds of petroleum as experimental subject, and a series of 3-dimentional fluorescence spectra were obtained by a fluorescence spectrometer. 3-D fluorescence data of different samples consisted three-way data arrays. The paper overlooked the specific components of petroleum pollutant, and each kind of petroleum was regarded as a whole, then PARAFAC method could obtain satisfactory spectrum decomposition result, and the concentration predictions of predicted set are shown in paper. When interfering substance exists, the method is effective similarly.

Optically Powered Sensor for Measuring Differential Pressure with Optical Fiber Data Link

Xiao Hong Ni; Jing Yuan; Jin Yu Wang; Yu Tian Wang

The paper describes the operation principle of optically powered sensor to measure differential pressure. Its probe powered by LD light only consumes tens micro watt .The optical source for power and signal can be transmitted to and fro by a single multiple mode optical fiber. The power and signal lights have different wave length. The system design is introduced and its parameters are selected. The signal and power are transmitted by fiber, and the probe is low power consumption, so this pressure measuring system can work in flammable and explosive environment. Adopted differential measuring signal processing technology, its anti-noise ability is improved. Experimental results show that this system has high precision and high reliability.

The Research of Polarization Feedback Control System Based on Double Mach-Zehnder Interferometer

Yu Tian Wang; Rui Rong Yuan; Shu Tao Wang; Xue Gao; Xue Li

Polarization induced signal fading always has an influence up on the visibility of the interference stripe and the accuracy of system location in the distributed optical fiber oil &gas pipeline leak detection system. Base on distributed sensor system polarization characteristic, this paper analyses the visibility of the interference stripe with the changing of polarization. Designed a feedback control system based on double Mach-Zehnder is used to eliminate the input light polarization fading. This system can effectively suppress the polarization fading in fiber optical sensor, making interferometer fringe visibility tends to 1 and the equilibrium state of input light polarization always closes to the best input sate of interferometer.

Study on Three-Dimensional Fluorescence Spectra of Oil Concentration in Water

Yu Tian Wang; Li Li Yang; Xin Qiong Lu

According to the Lambert-Beer laws, the fluorescence spectra of oil in water were investigated by measuring excitation-emission matrixes with FS920 fluorescence spectrometer. On the basis of the three-dimensional fluorescence spectra of oil in water, the excitation wavelength of 290nm and emission wavelength of 324nm were chosen for the quantitative analysis of oil in water. The results show that the concentration of oil in water is linearly proportional to the fluorescence intensity in the range of 1ppm-100ppm, and the measurement model of concentration is obtained with the linear correlation coefficient of 0.9993. The artificial samples has also been tested and the results are satisfactory. The recovery is in the range of 92%-106%. The research provides experimental basis for the quantitative analysis of multi-component oil in water.

Study on Optically Powered Hall Current Transformer

Pei Guo Hou; Yue Zhang; Yu Tian Wang; Jin Zhao

A hybrid fiber optically powered current transformer with the Hall element is studied and developed in this paper. The sensing probe is the zero-flux current transformer which is based on Hall Effect. The main current can be insulated from the measurement circuit by use of Hall current transformer. Due to the broad bandwidth characteristics and the high linearity between the Hall potential and measured magnetic flux density and the high sensitivity of the Hall current transformer, any changes in the excitation current can be accurately detected without distortion. The three-dimensional model of the Hall current transformer is set up by use of ANSYS software in this paper. The magnetic flux density in the opening air-gap is calculated by nonlinear magnetic analysis method of the three-dimensional finite element. Experimental data shows that the calculation method and results are reliable. At the same time, high power laser power supply is adopted to drive the electronic devices in high potential side, and the reliable insulation between the high potential and low potential is achieved by optical fibers. So the accuracy of this measurement system can be ensured.
