linear move irrigation system is widely used for its water saving and high automatization character, but the traditional go-stop-go driving method made the linear move irrigator hard to control and hard to get good irrigation efforts. Thus new control way with high efficiency in operation and low consuming of water, electricity, other materials and human resource is needed to develop to avoid this problem. Because of the difficulty of examination, virtual reality technology is used to simulate the controlling and driving system in this thesis. Build three-dimension models of the irrigation system departments according to their scale with Pro/ENGINEER, and three-dimensional scenes of farmland with Multigen Creator software. Assemble the departments together to six towers with Multigen Creator and analysis the forces of the mechanical models of the irrigation system according to the principles of ground vehicle dynamics. Visual C + + 6.0 and Multigen Vega were used to program an application, which load the three-dimension models of the irrigation system into the scenes of farmland. Then simulate the control system and drive system to study the moving properties of towers when the alignment angle between two adjacent towers changes. The simulation results show that the system can reflect the large-scale irrigation factually, and can optimize control parameters through simulation.

In order to generalize yield detection system, an ARM processor s3c 2440 was used to develop an embedded intelligent yield controller. In this thesis, we extended the ports of s3c 2440 circuit board, and compiled the development of corresponding drivers. Developed the internet applications of the yield distribution detection system, which can run in the embedded controller, and accomplish the receiving and processing of GPS data, the calculating and analyzing of yield sensors and CAN bus node sensors. Yield map was protracted according to the disposed data, which supplied the decision making system of digital agriculture.

Abstract A system attached to a small harvester and able to navigate was studied to analyse distribution information on wheat yield while reaping. In this system, a balance‐based yield flowmeter was built to detect the weight of moving wheat. Coordinate transform methods were employed to reduce errors. GPS receivers and GIS technology were used to report coordinates and the corresponding yield data, based on which a yield map could be displayed synchronously, and the harvester track could be displayed on a digital map drawn by the system. A meter was programmed to accumulate and display the reaped area on a screen with data from a GPS receiver and header switch. Experiments showed that the system can detect wheat weight with an error less than 3.5%, and it can create a digital map rapidly and display the harvesters track as it moves. The reaped area was synchronously shown with errors less than 2.4%.
