Study on Web Service Matching and Composition Based on Ontology

Fei You; Qingxi Hu; Yuan Yao; Gaochun Xu; Minglun Fang

Because web service function is continually strengthened, and web service quantity increases rapidly, it is urgent to solve the problem on automatic service matching and composition to meet service request. The service matching algorithm for bionic manufacturing domain-specific ontology is proposed in the paper. For this algorithm, the semantic similarity between two concepts is calculated according to the distance of two nodes corresponding to two words of service request and description. The revised index for matching the key word is considered to emphasize the key parameter among service description, and the matching accuracy is highly improved. The total matching degree of service is equal to the average of all semantic similarities between the service request and the service description. It can be accurately judged if the service matching is successful by the total matching degree. According to the dynamic hierarchical structure of domain-specific ontology model of bionic manufacturing, the service auto-link composition algorithm is proposed based on the recursive principle in the paper. The service is automatically and intelligently matched and reasoned by using the heuristic knowledge of knowledge base and the semantic information of ontology base of bionic manufacturing. The structure-well user objective IOPEs (Input, Output, Precondition, and Effect) is linked to get the abstract or concrete service-flow framework. The automatic service composition is implemented from single service to higher concept hierarchical service. Lastly, the system structure of semantic web service matching and composition is designed based on two described algorithms

A New Modeling Method on Skull Defect Repair

Fei You; Qingxi Hu; Yuan Yao; Qi Lu

To obtain the fairing surface model of the loss part of detective skull rapidly, a new modeling method on skull defect repair is proposed in this paper. This method is to adopt the surface reconstruction algorithm to construct the local model of defective skull based on the sub-pixel cube model. The hole’s feature on the surface is automatically identified by adopting the dihedral angle criteria algorithm, and two three-dimensional polygons are generated by searching the boundary edge of the hole. The polygon is triangulated based on the minimum area principle, and the mesh is refined based on the shortest edge principle. The weighted umbrella-operator is applied to control the curvature transformation of the patching mesh for smoothing it, and the fairing surface patch is generated. Then, the prosthesis model of defective skull is generated by Boolean calculation between every two key models. The modeling efficiency and precision are too higher.

In this paper, we propose an expert system which is based on Knowledge Engineering named DDES - Dental Diagnostic Expert System. Besides, a hybrid knowledge acquisition strategy is proposed to efficiently elicit the knowledge from experienced dentists and construct the medical ontology. The system fulfills the storage of dental photos and X-ray images, typical cases, patients information and concerned data. It enables the complex query for combined conditions and the display of requisite results by interactive interface between user and computer. For those teeth by root canal therapy, we can not only differentiate the 3D images between pre and post treatment, but also analyze force condition of every tooth. Theses query and analysis results supply dentists with diagnostic basis. The DDES uses Artificial Intelligence, Knowledge Engineering, Database and Computer technology and acts as a consultant role to help dentists diagnose some dental diseases.xa0xa0For the students of dental academy and practical dentist, the DDES is a useful learning and aided diagnosis tool.

the focus of this paper is methods of computer simulation of surgery process. Firstly, CT scan digitized im- ages were obtained by using 16-slice CT (GE Light Speed, USA) to scan from the bottom of mandible to the top of skull along the transverse axis. Secondly, maxillary sinus was recon- structed by using Mimics 10.01(Materialise, Belgium) which is professional software of 3D Reconstruction for Medical Im- ages. Then the 3D model in STL format will be inputted into imageware11.1 (Siemens PLM, USA). Using this software, the outer contour of maxillary sinus will be reconstructed into sheet body. Third, the sheet body will be input into UG NX4.0(Siemens PLM, USA). Mucosa, Trabecular and Cortical Bone will be reconstructed by Means of UG NX4.0 Software. The 3D model of bone condenser was built by the same ways. Finally, by using Ansys Workbench program nonlinear finite element analysis is carried out.

Jun Guo; Qing Xi Hu; Yuan Yao; Qi Lu; Yong Wei Yu; Yi Qian

this paper presents a Pore Network Model (PNM) based methods for design scaffold. In this modeling process, plenty of unit spheres that distributed in space coordinate randomly with different diameter within limits are created and permeated into the whole scaffold space. When the total volume proportion of the unit spheres ascends to a certain value, a PNM model is formed with the topological structure of connective holes and pore throats. The pore size, porosity and connectivity of the PNM Scaffold can be macroscopic controlled. Its irregular structure ensures the structure anisotropy on microstructure.

An Enterprise Ontology Model for Web Services of Web-Based Manufacturing

Yuan Yao; Guangwen Lu; Qingxi Hu

This paper aims to resolve the problem of lacking of necessary semantic information when web service is described in the filed of web-based manufacturing. An enterprise ontology model is built from the view of web service. The enterprise class, as the center of this model, connects other classes, such as process class, resource class etc. Especially, the resource class is described in detail about the dynamic and static attribute and its trigger mechanism. Based on this model, web services in the field of web-based manufacturing are able to be marked with semantic information which can be easily understand by every partner in the enterprise alliance or service requester. Meanwhile, any individual team members can keep their own preferred vocabularies or terms. The result of this paper lays a solid base for invoking the web service dynamically and automatically compositing web services to meet customer’s different requests.

Liulan Lin; Huicun Zhang; Yuan Yao; Aili Tong; Qingxi Hu; Minglun Fang

Design optimizing is the key step in obtaining bionic scaffolds with proper shape and inner microstructure, which are two critical parameters for bionic scaffolds in Tissue Engineering. In this paper, the application of image processing and finite element analysis in the design optimizing of bionic scaffolds shape and inner microstructure were studied respectively. The bionic scaffolds shape was obtained through Mimics image processing and 3D reconstruction technologies. Finite element analysis (FEA) was used in evaluating the mechanical properties of scaffolds structure models with different macropores shape and distribution to obtain the optimized parameters. Three groups of bioceramic scaffolds samples were fabricated through an indirect method combining stereolithography (SLA) and slurry casting, and then mechanical experiments were tested. The change trendy of the compressive strength obtained through mechanical experiments was consistent with the FEA results basically so the significance of FEA in bionic scaffolds design optimizing was proved.
