In this paper the design and realisation of an integrated online water quality monitoring system will be described. The system has been applied specifically to monitor the DO (Dissolved Oxygen) and pH parameters in several shrimp aquaculture centersin Indonesia. The aim was to reduce energy consumption and to create optimum water condition for the shrimp aquaculture.Using an automatic aeration system, the DO value has been maintained above 5 mg/l. On the other hand, data collected from the sensor measurements at each aquaculture can be accessed by SMS gateway or transmitted to the master station using telemetric system for further analysis or study.

This paper present the compact power divider integrated with coupler and microstrip cavity filter for x-band surveillance radar system. These modules consist of several devices (splitter, filter and coupler) it is integrated in a single module aims to reduce the loss in the joint connectors. The bandpass filter is use microstrip cavity filter for operating on X-Band Frequency and deployed on RT/duroid 5880. The power divider and coupler is designed using quarter wavelength transformer. A theoretical analytical circuit model will be presented, from the theoretical model, a compact integrated module will be designed and simulated. The proposed compact integrated module is small in dimension and performs a compact size. The compact integrated devices design on X-Band frequency is simulated and the result is presented.

The development in signal processing techniques give more improvements to radar capability in detection and resolution. Pulse Compression technique is used for this purpose. This paper describes design and implementation of radar pulse compression generator using AD9956 Direct Digital Synthesizer (DDS). The specification of waveform such as frequency and bandwidth can be generated by controlling the memory registers of DDS through its SPI communication ports. In this research, AD9956 DDS is used to generate short and long pulse signals that will be used to modulate the determined carrier frequency. The short pulse is formed from DDS single tone waveform mode, while the long pulse is formed from DDS linear sweep waveform mode. Both of pulse signals are digitally triggered by microcontroller to set their pulse width and frequency of repetitions. DDS operation, waveform and pulse generation technique in this proposed system is discussed in detail.

Pada penelitian ini dilakukan perancangan dan fabrikasi modul antena dengan susunan uniform untuk sistem antena radar generasi kedua. Modul antena yang dirancang terdiri dari empat buah sub-modul yang disusun secara vertikal. Sub-modul terdiri dari susunan delapan patch berbentuk persegi yang diatur sejajar ke arah horizontal dengan metode pencatuan coaxial feed pada titik tengah sub-modul. Setiap patch antena diberi daya yang sama sehingga susunan berbentuk uniform (seragam). Antena dicetak pada bahan duroid dengan nilai er 2,2 dengan ketebalan 1,57 mm. Hasil pengukuran antena menunjukkan bahwa antena dapat bekerja pada frekuensi 9,4 Ghz dengan nilai VSWR (Voltage Standing Wave Ratio) ≤1,5. Gain antena yang didesain sebesar 20.08 dBi dengan beamwidth horizontal 10˚ dan beamwidth vertikal 20˚.

Abstrak Digital Video Broadcasting – Second Generation Terrestrial (DVB-T2) telah ditetapkan sebagai standar penyiaran di Indonesia, maka diperlukan persiapan Industri lokal untuk menyongsong permintaan pasar pada saat migrasi tersebut. Sedangkan secara Internasional DVB-T2 merupakan standar baru sehingga ketersediaan Set Top Box DVB-T yang murah masih sangat sedikit. Padahal sebagian besar pasar Set Top Box DVB-T2 diprediksi akan menggunakan Set Top Box murah. Kemkominfo akan membagikan gratis set top box murah sekitar 1juta buah untuk penduduk Indonesia dan pengadaan pihak swasta sebesar 5 juta buah. Sehingga merupakan kesempatan industri lokal untuk bisa menguasai pasar untuk Set Top Box DVB-T2 murah tersebut. Tujuan pengembangan ini adalah membuat prototipe yang feasible untuk produksi massal, sehingga pada setiap langkah selalu dipertimbangkan: feasibilitas produksi, ketersediaan komponen dan harga, kesiapan produsen lokal untuk memproduksi. Sehingga pengembahan tidak akan dilakukan “from scratch” akan tetapi dimulai dari know-how yang telah didapatkan pada riset DVB-T sebelumnya ditambah referensi teknologi terkini yang ada. Berdasarkan hal-hal tersebut maka penelitian ini akan mengoptimasi seluruh portfolio teknologi sehingga menjadi prototipe yang sesuai dengan tujuan pengembangan ini. Langkah-langkah pengembangan, antara lain : menginventarisir semua teknologi DVB-T yang dapat digunakan kembali pada prototipe ini, menganalisis artitektur state-of-theart dari perangkat-perangkat DVB-T2 yang tersedia dipasaran, mengoptimalisasi arsitektur perangkat-perangkat tersebut dengan penekanan pada pertimbangan diatas, menganalisis dan membuat Prototip yang siap untuk produksi. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan decoder development kit all winner A-10 dan tuner, demodulator menggunakan PCTV Nanostick dengan pertimbangan tersedia secara bebas di pasaran Abstract Digital Video Broadcasting Second Generation Terrestrial (DVB-T2) has been established as the standard of broadcasting in Indonesia, preparations for the local industry is needed to meet market demand at the time of the migration. However, DVBT-T2 is a new standard in the world therefore the low cost STB is still limited available in market. Though the majority of Set Top Box DVB-T2 market is expected to use a cheap Set Top Box. Kemkominfo will distribute free set top box’s about 1 million pieces for Indonesia’s population and private sector procurement of 5 million pieces, so it is an opportunity for local industry could dominate the market for low cost Set Top Box DVB-T2. The aim of this development is to create a prototype feasible for mass production, so that at each step is always to be considered production feasibility, availability of components and price, the readiness of local manufacturers to produce. The development will not be done “from scratch” but starting from the know-how that has been found in previous research DVB-T reference plus the latest technology available. Based on these things, this research will optimize the entire portfolio of technologies to produce the prototype in accordance with the objectives of this development. The step-by-step development, among others: an inventory of all DVB-T technology that can be reused in this prototype, analyze architecture state-of-the-art of the devices DVB-T2 are available in the market, optimizing the architecture of these devices with an emphasis considerations above, analyze and make a second prototypes are ready to production. In this research, using a development kit all winner A10 decoder and the tuner and demodulator using PCTV NanoStick with consideration easily purchased in the market.
