Nd3+-doped Bi2O3-B2O3-TeO2 glass for solar pumped lasers

We have studied Nd<sup>3+</sup>/Yb<sup>3+</sup> co-doped Bi<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>-B<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>-TeO<sub>2</sub> glasses for solar pumped lasers, and compared to Nd<sup>3+</sup>-doped Bi<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>-B<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>-TeO<sub>2</sub> glasses. Nd<sup>3+</sup>/Yb<sup>3+</sup> co-doped Bi<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>-B<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>-TeO<sub>2</sub> glasses show large emission intensity compared to Nd<sup>3+</sup> -doped Bi<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>-B<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>-TeO<sub>2</sub> glasses.We have studied Nd<sup>3+</sup>-doped Bi<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>-B<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>-TeO<sub>2</sub> glasses for solar pumped lasers, and compared with silicate glasses and YAG ceramics. Bi<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>-B<sub>2</sub>O<sub>3</sub>-TeO<sub>2</sub> glasses show broad band and large absorption compared to YAG ceramics, and longer fluorescence lifetime.

We have studied Nd3+/Yb3+ co-doped Bi2O3-B2O3-TeO2 glasses for solar pumped lasers, and compared to Nd3+-doped Bi2O3-B2O3-TeO2 glasses. Nd3+/Yb3+ co-doped Bi2O3-B2O3-TeO2 glasses show large emission intensity compared to Nd3+ -doped Bi2O3-B2O3-TeO2 glasses.
