The impact of vibration of the 3D printer table on the quality of print

Zbigniew Pilch; Jaroslaw Domin; Andrzej Szlapa

The article presents the results of measurements carried out for the 3D Kreator Motion printer table in terms of analysis of impact of mechanical vibrations on print quality. The article presents an analysis of the mechanical vibrations in the plane perpendicular to the surface of the table. The measurements were obtained using laser measurement techniques.

Analysis of Established Thermal Conditions for Magnetorheological Clutch for Different Loading Conditions

Zbigniew Pilch

This paper presents the results of simulation studies of thermal conditions controllable magnetorheological fluid clutch. In the first part, the construction of a prototype clutch, the CAD model and the results of measurements of the time for a variety of power clutch, realized on the test bench. An analysis of power losses in the clutch for the different states of operation. Describes the boundary conditions for finite element calculations for steady state operation of thermal coupling. Subsequently, the results of simulations carried out in the FEMM 4.2. The work summarized statement of the simulation results and the conclusions.

Infrared camera as part of a feedback loop in the MR fluid coupling research

Zbigniew Pilch; Paweł Kielan

In the paper the laboratory stand for measurements of electromechanical and thermal parameters of the magnetorheological clutch prototype (MR clutch) is presented. The results of thermal measurements of the MR clutch as heating curves are presented. For the measurement system built in which the FLIR A325 thermal imaging camera is part of a feedback loop. Supervises the work of the original software CP&CiCL (control power and camera in close loop) developed by the authors. As examples of the results of measurement for the first mode of the system.

Field modelling of several electromagnetic drive variants of the micropump blood transfusion device

Sebastian Bartel; Zbigniew Pilch; Tomasz Trawiński

In this article the trends in constructing and modelling of devices supporting the blood flow in the human heart will be presented. The latest Eurotransplant statistics report on the incidence of heart failure and the latest trends in the treatment of the failing heart will be presented in chapter one. Trends in developing ventricular assist devices and the number of implanted device types supporting the dysfunctional heart will be discussed in chapter two. Finally there will be shown a modelling method of the electromagnetic system of pulsatile artificial hearts with the research results.

Comparison of properties of electromagnetic clutches with ferromagnetic powder and magnetorheological fluid for low frequency control signals

Paweł Kielan; Zbigniew Pilch

The article presents the results of laboratory tests for the two electromagnetic clutches of controllable: powder clutch and clutch fluid MR. The research was aimed at comparing the opportunities for coupling the power supply conditions in the low-frequency signals of 1 to 5 Hz. The system uses proprietary software written in Visual Studio C#. The program allows for controlled, laboratory power supply ATTEN PPS3205T-3S.
