Tetrahedron Letters | 1995

Ring-opening of 3-benzyloxyazetidinium salts with organophosphorus nucleophiles Application to the synthesis of poly functional aminophosphonic acids analogues

Jan Heliński; Zbigniew Skrzypczyński; Jan Michalski

Abstract Novel and efficient synthesis of polyfunctional γ- and δ-aminophosphonic acids derivatives via ring opening of 3-alkoxyazetidinium salts with phosphorus containing nucleophiles is described.

Phosphorus Sulfur and Silicon and The Related Elements | 1986

A convenient synthesis of phosphorus and sulfonyl-substituted N-imidazoles (triazoles) using the corresponding acid chlorides and N-trimethylsilyl imidazoles (triazoles)

W. Dαbkowski; Jan Michalski; Zbigniew Skrzypczyński

Abstract The synthetic route phosphorus and sulfonyl-substituted N-imidazoles (triazoles) has been elaborated based on the method proposed by Birkofer8 et al. The appropriate compounds are obtained in high yield and of analytical purity by the action of N-trimethylsilyl imidazole (triazole) on the corresponding acid chlorides.

Journal of The Chemical Society, Chemical Communications | 1982

Phosphino sulphonates, a type of PIII-anhydride and their isomerisation into phosphinoyl sulphinates: a novel rearrangement in phosphorus–sulphur chemistry

Wojciech Dabkowski; Jan Michalski; Zbigniew Skrzypczyński

The imidazolides (1) react smoothly with RSO3H to afford a novel class of trico-ordinate phosphorus anhydride, the phosphino sulphonates (2); under sutable structure circumstances the compounds (2) undergo a novel type of rearrangement, (2)→(6), which provides the first example of a phosphinoyl sulphinate structure (6).

Journal of The Chemical Society, Chemical Communications | 1974

Stereochemistry of acid-catalysed solvolysis at the sterically hindered thiophosphoryl centre

Bożena Krawiecka; Jan Michalski; Zbigniew Skrzypczyński

t-Butylphenylphosphinothioic methanesulphonic anhydride undergoes acid-catalysed hydrolysis and methanolysis with inversion of configuration at the sterically hindered thiophosphoryl centre.

Tetrahedron Letters | 1980

Multifunctional catalysis XI : Asymmetric catalysis of the mutarotation of tetramethylglucose by optically active phosphinothioic acids.

A. Fauve; A. Kergomard; M. F. Renard; Jan Michalski; Zbigniew Skrzypczyński

Abstract Catalytic activities of R(+) and racemic t-butylphenylphosphinothioic acids on the mutarotation of 2,3,4,6 tetramethyl-d-glucose are studied in benzene.

Journal of The Chemical Society, Chemical Communications | 1977

Novel reaction of phosphinothioic methanesulphonic anhydride with aluminium halides. Stereoselective synthesis of phosphinothioic halides

Jan Michalski; Zbigniew Skrzypczyński

Phosphinothioic methanesulphonic anhydrides (1) react with aluminium chloride or bromide to form complexes which after decomposition with water or methanol give halides (2) in high yield, with retention of configuration at phosphorus in the case of aluminium chloride.

Journal of The Chemical Society, Chemical Communications | 1976

Evidence for a sulphene intermediate in the base hydrolysis of the methanesulphonic anhydrides of phosphinothioic acids

Jan Michalski; Czeslaw Radziejewski; Zbigniew Skrzypczyński

Isotope incorporation studies on the base hydrolysis of the methanesulphonic anhydrides of phosphinothioic acids (1) using 18O enriched water and D2O have shown that S–O bond cleavage occurs via a sulphene intermediate.

Phosphorus Sulfur and Silicon and The Related Elements | 1990

A NEW EFFICIENT SYNTHESIS OF TRIFLUOROACETYL HALIDES AND MIXED ANHYDRIDES OF PHOSPHORUS AND TRIFLUOROACETIC ACIDS

Jan Heliński; Zbigniew Skrzypczyński; Jacek Wasiak; Jan Michalski

Abstract Reaction of trifluoroacetic anhydride with chloroanhydrides of phosphorus acids R2P(O)CI results in formation of mixed anhydrides R2P(O) OCOCF3 and trifluoroacetic acid halides CF3COX (X=Cl, Br, I) in quantitative yield.

Phosphorus Sulfur and Silicon and The Related Elements | 1983

Synthetic, Mechanistic And Biological Aspects of Phosphorus-Sulfonic Acids Anhydrides. Direct Evidence for The SN1 (P)-Ionic Mechanism in Phosphorus Chemistry

Jan Michalski; Wojciech Dabkowski; Zbigniew Skrzypczyński

Abstract Special attention in this Laboratory has been recently given towards the chemistry of phosphorus-sulfur acids anhydrides RR1P(X)-O-SO2-R2 (X[dbnd]0, S, Se) 1.

Journal of Organic Chemistry | 1988
