In this paper, image enhancement is considered as an optimization problem and improved PSO(Particle Swarm Optimization) is used to solve it. Also in it, parameterized transformation function is used, which uses global and local information of the image. And an objective criterion for measuring image enhancement — taking fully consideration of the entropy of the image and edge information — is proposed. The main job of this paper tries to achieve the best image enhancement function with the help of improved PSO — parameters optimization. Results have been proved out better compared with other enhancement techniques, such as HE(Histogram Equalization), LCS(Linear Contrast Stretching) and GAIE(Genetic Algorithm based on Image Enhancement).

SoftMan is a new concept based on the production of distributed technique, intelligent robot and artificial life. SoftMan is the development of a mobile agent and is a virtual robot in the network environment. It inherited many research fruits of robot and agent. Therefore, it has the essential features of the intelligent robot and agent, and at the same time has life features. Comparing with the agent, SoftMan not only has more all-around humanized intelligence, humanized behavior and function, but also has the ability of environment identification, self-determination and free will. SoftMan has some digital life features which agent has none, such as activity, learning and evolution, inheritance, variation and emotion. The corresponding theory and technology fruits provided a good foundation and reference for studying SoftMan. At first, this paper introduces the technology of SoftMan and agent, and then discusses the relationship between SoftMan and agent from the viewpoint of structure model, function, implementation technique, and application example.

On the basis of the concept of Intelligent Autonomous Decentralized Systems (IADS) and SoftMan, the organization structural model and coordination control schedule of SMC (SoftMan Community) is put forward, SM.man management and control strategy is designed and the coordination control characteristics, forms and strategy of SMC are discussed. At the same time, the interacting control mechanism of local SMC and remote SMC is discussed.

Artificial emotion is a companion volume of artificial intelligence. Emotion is key to human action of decision-making. Emotion, intelligence and behavior have intimate relations. Emotion model is a vital question to the research of artificial emotion. This paper introduces generalized model of artificial emotion and emotional control model in softman control system. Erf (emotion restrain factor) and Eef (emotion excursion factor) are brought forward. Erf , Eef and V out are the three elements of emotional control in softman. Results of simulation prove that influence of Eef to emotional control is stronger than that of Erf. It matches the natural behaviors of human emotion

Due to distribution and internal complexity of the issue, one of the key problems in Multi-Agents Communication. Sub-Acquisition need to communicate, so that they can mutually exchange information, or coordination or collaboration to complete tasks in order to achieve the purpose of solving. The introduction of Intelligent information push and pull technology can improve the intelligence level of network and database. It can find a fundamental solution to the problems encountered during these technology applications. The main advantages of Information Pull technology are: better targeted, light source task. Its shortcomings are as follows: poor timeliness.It require the user to have a certain expertise. In order to solve these Pull technology problems, information push technology has come into being.

In the process of armored furnishment logistics supply chain management, its an important research content how to improve the turnover efficiency of armored furnishment, reduce the stock cost, arrange production flow rationally, reduce the stocks of armored furnishment, how to establish distribution plan and transportation scheme, save unwanted expenditure and serve for the army armored furnishment management. Setting up scientific and intelligent management model is the best approach to solve this problem. SoftMan is an agent with artificial life. This paper put forward the structure model of SoftMan. It sort and combine some function role of real supply chain entity based on different operation and decision popedom. This method of compartmentalizing role and designing SoftMan is in favor of manager understanding model faster and better, at the same time, coordination relationship among SoftMan is in favor of the system expansibility

In this paper, self-reproduction characteristic of artificial life is introduced to computer animation. A self-reproduction model of artificial fish based on gene control is put forward and built. Based on artificial fishs phenotype, the contents of its chromosome are given. Based on this model, heredity rules are given. Artificial fish could reproduce and grow in the virtual marine environment freely controlled by the gene model and rules. Artificial behaviors include predefined behaviors and nondeterminate behaviors. Cognitive models based on Artificial Intelligence is put forward and built to control behaviors of artificial fish in high level. Simulation program is designed and developed based on all these models built above. These made groundwork to improve the efficiency and automatic level of artificial fish animation.
